What is the difference between Ron Paul and other candidates?

What is the difference between Ron Paul and other candidates regarding removing the troops from iraq? I have heard that Ron Paul would do it immediately, and the others will not. However, when listening to the Democrates speeches, this does not seem like this is possible.

Public Comments

  1. He smokes stronger weed. LOL!
  2. The difference between Ron Paul and the other candidates is the other candidates have a chance to be elected. Both sides know there is no way to just up and leave Iraq, to do so would severely hurt us in the international community. Ron Paul is just giving lip service because it is unrealistic the things he promises.
  3. Ron Paul is the only person who is openly laughed at during the debates by the other candidates. Ron Paul has raised more useless money than any other candidate. He brags about the amounts he's raised, but it was Huckabee who moved into 1st place in Iowa by 22 points! What is he doing with the cash? Buying hamburgers? Ron Paul wants to eliminate the IRS, CIA, Federal Reserve and several other agencies. These are bald-faced vote getters. He is a conspiracy theory liberal in Republican clothing.
  4. When I was looking for info on dr. paul, I found everything I needed by researching his speeches on youtube and trying to read his book: http://www.dailypaul.com/node/23 Join the revolution :D add: I suppose if you didn't feel threatened by ron paul you wouldn't have left such snide little comments so I'm going to take it as a compliment! :)
  5. Maybe this will illustrate it for you, since it's being followed step by step: "How to Whip This Ron Paul Character and All His Wacky Followers. Ron Paul can be defeated by ignorance. Ignore him if you can. By lies. Misrepresent his positions whenever possible. By word gaming. As Lenin advised, “First, confuse the vocabulary.” By contempt. Dismiss him as amusing and pathetic. By smearing his supporters. Find the worst and spotlight them. Call them a cult. By consensus. Dismiss him with peer-pressure ridicule. By false accusations. Spread them quickly and far. By never discussing his policies. Change the subject to his person. By the polls. Ask the right people the right questions and get the answer you want. By reporting his most unpopular votes. But don’t report his reasoning. By rudeness. Wreck any debate where his ideas are winning. With all these tools, he can be easily defeated. Use them generously. But Ron Paul cannot be defeated by refuting him in an honest and courteous technical debate. Avoid that."
  6. Ron Paul has no chance to win.
