How do you feel about Mitt Romney giving "the Mormon Speech"?

After eleven months of trying to Not make this election about religion, campaigns like Huckabee's and McCain's keep trying to paint themselves as more "Christian" than the others. Now, Romney has to get out there and say "Hey, Mormons are Christians, too", or people are just gonna stay home on primary/caucus days. Do you think Christianity should be an issue?

1. Separation of church and state. Plain and simple. I am a Christian, but I don't use that as a platform in my career and I especially expect a person in a high governmental position to do the same.
2. Many peoplemay be taking their own ignorance (lack of knowledge) and 'holding it against him because he is Mormon. If he explains 'his side' at least they are not quite as 'ignorant about it; for better or worse. People tend (past and) presently to fear there what they do not understand at that moment.
3. No, religion should definitely NOT be in issue in this or any election.
