Whom You Think Will Be Good Partner For John McCain in The 2008 Presidential Republican Ticket?

Public Comments

  1. condeleeza rice or powell
  2. Condi!!!!!
  3. David Duke or his fellow countryman, Manuel Noriega.
  4. Stephen Colbert
  5. somebody young and sane
  6. Honestly???? Leiberman. I am a CONSERVATIVE before I will claim to be a Republican, and he's about the only person I trust to tell the truth right now.
  7. Condoleezza Rice would be a good choice.
  8. It has to be someone relatively young and very conservative. Those are the only two requirements...so he has a lot to choose from. Some people say it should be a black person or a women...but you won't see that happen...he doesn't need that. What he needs is youth and a conservative. EDIT: See all these people saying Condi or Powell. Really guys, get a clue. He doesn't need either of them, and the republican base is NOT like the democratic base where they would rally around a women or black candidate. Besides, trying to do so against Hillary or Obama would look desperate. THINK. McCain is only lacking in two things to be the perfect republican candidate...and that is what I said above. Someone with a strong economic background would also be good for him.
  9. cheney "so what?"
  10. The cave man on the geico commercial?
  11. I think he'll pick some crappy moderate Democrat light with a Republican name or no party affiliation whatsoever. He's been turning his back on the Republican party for years and won't stop now. Sadly he's still significantly better than a Clinton or O'bama though it's ashame people we have such a lousy selection this election.
  12. Joe Lieberman. seriously. that ticket would win in a landslide. American's have had enough of this "Democrat vs. Republican" nonsense. Why do you think every candidate out there is saying THEY are the ones that can "bring us together?" McCain and Lieberman are two guys that have a reputation for standing against their parties when they thought the parties were wrong. Lieberman was practically tossed out all together for doing what he thought was right. We need leaders like this. I'm tired of the Democrat vs. Republican nonsense.
  13. I think Ron Paul should get the 2008 Republican Ticket. The nomination hasn't been awarded.
  14. I believe in order McCain to even have a shot of winning in Nov he's going to have to pick a young minority. He is going up against either a woman or a black guy. There are going to be a lot of people out there who are going to vote because they want to be part of history by voting for the woman or the African American. McCain will not have a chance if he goes w/ a white male as his running mate.
  15. Lieberman, Condi Rice, Romney, John Kaisic from Ohio, Powell is a great man, but with the age factor McCain needs someone alittle younger. My first pick would be Condi Rice.
  16. Condi Rice would be the best running mate, but I don't think she is interested. Huckabee is someone to consider. I know that Romney and McCain don't exactly get along, but if the economy remains a big issue, Romney would be a great asset for the ticket.
  17. Huckabee
  18. Either Joe Lieberman (which would be a huge mistake) or Lindsay Graham....
  19. Dirk Kempthorne
