Public Comments

  1. Hilary has the most experience.
  2. Edwards served for 8 years..he passed on the last election because he wanted to run for the presidency...as far as this election goes..I will vote for Hillary..if not her..then John McCain..
  3. Billary cuz she was President already. McCain aka fossil
  4. Obama has more than 3 years of political experience. I fear your definition of "political" experience is very limited. If you mean pushing paper and laws maybe HOWEVER if you mean helping out youth, communities and the underprivilleged I would have to challenge you on that. Lastly "political" experience is not a compulsory standard requirement for the presidency of the US. In fact its the only job where there are absolutely NO standard compulsory requirements.
  5. Hillary Clinton has been a U.S. Senator for 7 years, not 8. She was sworn in on January 3, 2001. Being first lady is hardly political experience. In the case of McCain, I fail to see how being alive since 1901 is considered political experience. You failed to mention Obama's 8 years in the Illinois state senate. And some might consider his 11 years of teaching constitutional law as experience since it would be behoove any President to know the constitution through and through. I believe Obama has the best political experience because he has enough experience, and yet the old "status quo" way of running the government has not been embedded in him.
  6. If you were applying for a job as a bus driver, would you list on the application that you rode a bus to school for 12 years? That is what you are saying when you call Hillary experienced. My preference would be for a governor, because they have actually RUN something with a measurable level of success. Same goes for a businessman. Romney is rich because he made good decisions and led his company successfully, but he is gone. I like Huckabee mainly for the Fair Tax, but his chances are slim. So that leaves the three senators. There hasn’t been a sitting senator or congressmen elected president since 1960 (John Kennedy), though many have tried. Governors are more successful because of their executive leadership experience. Leaving party affiliation and politics aside, there is no comparison between the experience of Clinton and Obama put together and that of John McCain. He was actually born in 1936. He served in the Navy for 23 years and is (really) a decorated war hero. He then served four years in the House and has served 21 years in the Senate. Suffice to say, he knows a thing or two about how to get things done in government, even to the chagrin of his own party. Hillary, on the other hand, was first lady of Arkansas, first lady of the US, and has been in the senate since 2001. She is only in the senate because she bought a house in a state that would elect her. She had never lived in New York before. Can you name a bill that has passed with her name on it? Has she ever led anything? NO, she has just ridden the bus.
