Can Mitt Romney get the Republican nomination?

I know chances are getting slim because McCain is really getting mommentum, but can Romney still win this thing? I know that people with in the GOP dont like McCain because he so liberal, is it possible, that with the "GOP nod" so to speak, Romney can take it all the way? If so, who would be on his ticket, him and McCain fight too much, and Huckabee is alright. But who do you think will he put on his ticket?

  1. I seriously hope that Romney can pull it off. But since the chance is slim and it is likely that McCain will get it, he should have a more conservative republican running-mate such as Fred Thompson.
  2. Yes, Romney can win. I'd much rather have him than Ted Kennedy's sock puppet McCain.
  3. Nope...he is as good as gone.
  4. Ya if people realize that a war hero dosen't make a good prsident. McCain is so left I have no idea how he is running for the Republicans. Hope Mitt gets it!
  5. Yes he can. We need Huckabee to drop out (he is stealing Mitt's votes).
  6. I hope so!
  7. mitt romney he will win this hole thing!!!! goo mitt romney
  8. I would love to see him pull it off because I really believe he could do great things for this country. The real issue seems to be, and it's gaining steam from the murder-media, that Romney can't beat the Dimocrap ticket. That makes me sick because then people aren't really voting for who they want. We instead have to vote to keep the most undesirable's out and that's the bottom line.
  9. Next Wednesday Mc Cain will have it wrapped up and Mitt will learn that you just can't buy the white house. If McCain is liberal (far from it) then OBama and Bubba's old lady are right wing conservatives.
  10. Yes, but no he will not. Remember that the population of the eligible voters in this country are mostly quite similar to one another so at this point already you can see that the good Senator John McCain, retired Navy pilot and former prisoner of war, a skilled compromising negotiator without anything much against him and many hundreds of hundreds of thousands solidly behind him, will be the successful Republican party nominee. This year the other parties including such as the Libertarian party, Constitution Party or Prohibition Party are unlikely to play a real role by the way unless Senator McCain were to withdraw - and he has no reason to quit and strong commitment to continue. A McCain Presidency will be good for the well-being of this country domestically and perhaps in foreign matters for years, as each administration leaves a legacy (good, or not-so-good.) Senator John McCain has demonstrated good character and a good record of trying to brake continuing rampant growth of the federal government power and federal government spending and taxing and deficit spending as much as he is able to given the preference of so many to keep speeding it along bigger and bigger and faster and faster. He has likely some blemishes but has shown himself to be a good man of character to my view.
  11. If we stand behind Mitt Romney he can win. Never give up.
  12. If someone could figure out how to get through to Mike Huckabee to drop out, Mitt could win. The trouble is that Huckabee and McCain have an agreement that if Huckabee stays in the race and takes votes away from Romney that McCain will make Huckabee his V.P. and then have a chance at the presidency again in 8 years. The trouble is that LIBERAL McCain and LIBERAL Baptist Preacher Huckabee have no chance of ever winning the presidency because the CONSERVATIVES will sit at home. McCain thinks he can win with only the independents and some democrats but no Republican can win the presidency without winning over the CONSERVATIVES. I for one am voting for Mitt Romney and I heard that he is going to choose Fred Thompson as his running mate.
