Can we all agree Mitt Romney lost the GOP debate?
He flip-flopped on almost every issue. Mitt Romney admitted his immigration plan is not reasonable. Mitt Romney's attack ads finally catched up to him nobody on the staged liked him.
Public Comments
- Yep!
- He is definitely off his game. If it keeps up for much longer he is finished...
- Is Mitt Romney still relevant at all?
- He said once ,that he wanted to be a car salesman. He would've sucked at that too!
- McCain and Giuliani were the only two that looked presidential material on stage tonight. Romney is done. Huckabee is a clown.
- Yep, he lost. Sorry to say that, because I like the guy, but he hasn't managed his campaign very well.
- Yeah he sucked obama is going to win
- "catched up to him" and "on the staged", huh? Tell me, did you attend public school?
- Didn't he look like a weasel? They got him good.
- I believe he lost too. The commentary afterwards failed to capitalize on Romney's comment on "how the pharmaceutical companies are not to blame for high drug prices". Yet these are the same companies lobbying in Washington AND selling the same drugs in Canada for much cheaper. He definitely showed a lot of arrogance and left a bad impression with me in this debate, and I was strongly considering voting for him.
- I actually think he did a pretty good job holding his own after everyone ganged up on him. If anyone got pwned up on this debate, it was John McCain. I am a big McCain fan and would have to say that he looked like a fool on stage. I am very disappointed to say the least. =(
- Actually, he didn't admit his immigration plan is not reasonable. He said deporting them all is unreasonable. But that's not his plan. his plan is to enforce the law and make it unprofitable for them to be here so they go home at their own accord. And of course no one on stage liked him. They are all threatened by him. All except Paul who just doesn't care and Thompson who is as confident as Romney. Mitt was attacked on all sides tonight and came off as a cool, calm, and knowledgible candidate. He showed he understood the Constitution by emphasizing that health care is a state issue. He and Thompson totally destroyed Giuliani and McCain on the immigration issue. And even more. McCain totally bombed. He looked petty with the personal attacks. he lost on the immigration issue big time. he spent half the time focusing on his service in Vietnam which was almost 40 years ago and has very little relevance to the debate. And considering Romney is the one who benefits if McCain goes down and he had a strong preformane himself, its clear Romney won handsdown.
