Everybody see the Mitt Romney clip last night on the news ?
Where the Associated Press reporter caught him on a huge lie over his advisors being lobbysts? I looked it up. These people are registered as lobbysts in Washington and Mitt Romney was lying through his teeth. If this is while he's campaigning, what can we expect should he be elected President?
Public Comments
- More lies. Romney has already shown himself to be a perpetual liar (and a dirtbag) throughout the campaign. This was just yet another instance.
- Romney is still the best man running.
- Yeah-and people are voting for him? He's dishonest from the word go, like the others.
- i caught that huge lie. that AP reporter called him out on his lie. did you see and hear how mitt tried to say that the lobbyist was an "adviser" but he wasn't "running his campaign?" what a load of crap? doesn't an adviser advise people in a campaign? he got called out on his lie just like he said that his father marched with Dr. King. and you're right. if he' s lying to get to the white house, heaven help us should he become president.
- Really? A politician lying. You don't say. Next you'll be telling me you heard a dog barking.
- I did. Un-freaking-belieavable! I hope they replay it over and over. What a lying sack of (censored)! Is this what the Republicans think makes a candidate "electable" ? What a joke!
- I think everyone saw it - They've played it enough. I'd like to know now what the GOP think about the "electability" of this lying piece of crap? He can make that crook Giuliani look like small potatos.
- I havent seen the clip, so I will have to do some research and see if this actually did happen...but, he is still the best choice for our country. He's getting my vote
- I hear ol' Mitt's health care plan in Massachusetts is not working. Mitt wants to fine people who can't afford health insurance. If someone cannot afford something, they can if you fine them.? There are heavy fines for DUI. So, there fore, there are no more DUIs??? This is patterned after the mandatory auto insurance laws (that are not working). In the center of Los Angeles, 98% are driving with out insurance. It all adds to more on food stamps, and more landlords not getting their rent.
- I saw it. Looked like "electable" Mitt got himself caught with his foot in his mouth. Who was the reporter? Glen what? Good job for him to stand up to this lying piece of $***!. Who does this guy think he is? I never liked him very much but now I can't stand him.
- LOL, yes I saw it and I laughed my butt off. I swear i lost 5 or 6 pounds just laughing at how absurd this guy is. Unbelievable.
- I hope he's the nominee, he'll be the easiest to defeat.
- We can expect that AP reporters will still have their heads stuck up their *sses. Romney didn't say that the guy wasn't a lobbyist. He said that the guy wasn't running his campaign. And since you're so keen on doing research, why don't you go look at the records of his campaign manager and all of the deputy managers? I'll give you a sneak preview: NONE of them are lobbyists.
- He won't be elected.
- I am not a Romney supporter, but in fairness. Romney's comment was that lobbyists were not running his campaign. He never said there were no lobbyists working on his campaign. The reporter insisted that the lobbyists were running his campaign. Romney was correct in pointing out that his campaign manager was running the campaign. Other than perhaps Ron Paul I seriously doubt any candidate does not have lobbyists working on their campaign. Other than their stance on policy there is really not a lot that separates any of these bozos.
