Do you believe Mitt Romney is too ill tempered for the White House?
Hey, not trying to hate but with that recent flare up with that reporter who questioned him about lobbyist running his campaign, do you believe Mitt Romney is too much of a hot head to effectively handle Congress and International affairs as President? It just seems when he gets a curve ball, it makes him a little too testy.
Public Comments
- Hillery is far more ill tempered. If the press ever gives her a tough question, watch out. And Bill was even worst.
- Massachusetts legislators didn't think so. which is a lot more than you can say about most of the other candidates -- he's at least been a political executive and has dealt with a legislative branch dominated by the other party. come to think of it, Rudy has too. no one else though.
- Never thought of it...but it's true that he was trying to justify and got too defensive...
- Because the media has a beef with him unlike any candidiate in this election. Where is the bothering of Obama, or Clinton, or hell even Huckabee. The media is not being unbiased in this election, but why should that shock anybody? It doesn't me.
- I'm glad he has a temper. Otherwise as president, he would let people walk all over him.
- Next president, fact.
- No, he's not. You try answering every dumbass question some idiotic reporter comes up with.
- Actually, I am not a Mitt Romney supporter...far from it. BUT, on the other hand, I find it refreshing to see a candidate act like a real person. We are real people living a real life in a real country. Real people have emotions and feel strongly about what they believe in. Looking at the stress these candidates are under right now, even though it may look like a person who is more "together and calm" would be a good choice...but is that just the candidate running on auto pilot? I applaud seeing some form of an emotion that allows me to feel closer to a candidate.
- a presidential candidates gotta have SOME fire to them. Otherwise they'd all be like Fred Thompson
- now we see he's not some robot ......sweet....
- from the ABC perspective he seemed quite hostile, but I watched it again on CBS and on FOX. He actually handled himself pretty well. The reported was opinionated and hostile. He twisted each thing Romney said and then said it wasn't true. If you watch CBS's version there's a little old lady that chews out the reporter in the end. It's pretty funny. With the other two perspectives, Romney actually handled the situation quite well and would probably do alright as president.
- You thought that was a flare up? Have you even watched the Republican debates? He's the only candidate who has never lost his temper in any of them. He's kept his cool on the campaign trail for twelve months and three weeks, and the one time he shows a bit of frustration you say he's too ill-tempered for the White House?
- Mitt Romney is a typical politicain who will say anything to get a vote. Even if it means saying it to one group one day and the very next saying the opposite to a second group. He is a liar and deserved to be called out. George Stephanopoulos did on his show.
- Well, he wouldn't be the first President to have a temper! For the most part I feel that he is pretty even tempered & does very well facing the press. I wouldn't vote for him though because the other day he said he admired President Bush & felt that he was doing a good job! Too much for me! The truth will out!
- No , Not if you compare him to guy like LBJ who was a really big man with a temper to match . The thing about LBJ was that his bite was worse than his bark. Scary but true
- Well, as a Romney supporter, (sort of), I will say that he has seemed to be fairly easily ruffled by reporters lately, and that's not a good sign. But he's a Mormon, so I'm o.k. with him, because all of the Mormons I've ever met have been really nice, milk drinking, healthy types. So, he must be like that too. And he's pretty smart too, especially with economics, which is what we really need right now. Along with some retired general as his VP.
- That was far from a flare up in my opinion and is being blown way out of proportion. That reporter was just trying to make him look bad. I thought Romney handled it quite well actually.
- Plastic melts when the fire gets too hot. I don't even think Romney believes the cr@p he spews.
- I think we're going to end up with another president Bush. My way or the highway.,I don't see him respecting the Constitution. Bush has pretty much done as he damn well pleased. Its one thing to cut the red tape, its another not to respect your elected officials.
