Why did Mitt Romney give his best speech the day he got out?
If that Mitt Romney would have stood up before now, he would have been nominated.

- The fat lady sang.
- Mitt Romney was not a good strategist. His best speech must have been made before the Super Tuesday.
- Have not heard his speech yet, but his "Faith in America" speech was the best I'd heard from him or any other politician in the last 30 years.
- He's like Tiffany Fallon, saving the best for when it's too late.
- He listened to John Kerry's concession speech 4 years ago? If he gave other speeches like he did his last, he might of had a chance. The same applies to Romney
- He suspended his campaign, he has not endorsed or surrendered his delegates. I think he still hopes to influence the party platform at the convention. A well received speech, given to the conservative wing of his party may be the key to a strong voice come convention time. Backed by the conservatives and his delegates as political capital he may yet be a force .
