What are the chances on an autumn election?

Heya, I was just a bit too young to vote at the last election and I definately want to vote in the next election. What are the chances of Brown calling an election this autumn because of his current lead? I'm going to be away at my final year of Uni and I can't really fly back home and miss classes just to vote so I really hope there's not an election til after I graduate next summer and am living back home where I'm registered on the electoral roll!

1. You could apply for a postal vote - do it now. I reckon there's a good chance Gordon will go for it - say 40% he will, 60% he'll wait till next May. Welcome to the wonderful world of enfranchisement !
2. Zero, if you watch the news the next election will not be untill 2008/9 sorry.
3. If Brown wants to win, he'll call it as soon as he can. At the moment he's kind of the new guy, so he's fairly popular, and well ahead in the polls. As he's not been in charge long, he hasn't had a chance to cock things up too badly yet!

5. Slim.Gordon Brown is in a hurry to ratify the EU Treaty/Constitution. He is determined to push it through without the British public having a vote in a referendum. I doubt he will call an election till after the ratification of the Treaty/Constitution. Why not apply for a postal vote...
6. after looking at the newspaper to-day and seeing the people leaving this country and looking whats coming in I think Mr Brown would be wise to call an election NOW and then act to settle all the good Brits leaving here what will he be left with soon He has a good chance to win now if he doesn't connect with this EU nonsence and we can get back to how Britain used to be
