How should I properly thank the liberals for handing us another election?

They picked two very weak candidates this year. Clinton-4 year Senator. Obama-1 year Senator?? At least if they had picked Edwards for their nominee, he might have been a slight competition in the general election. But I just don't see Obama or Clinton being able to beat McCain in November. McCain 08!

  1. By losing for underestimating Barack. You sell him short at your peril. Just ask the flaming wreckage of the Clinton campaign.
  2. I really dont see McCain winning a state vs Obama in the general election.
  3. All you guys could come up with is an old fossil,he'll be like Dole in 96,you really don't hear much about McCain in the news today, that's really going to hurt him
  4. I can see McCain making mince-meat out of Obama in the first debate in Mississippi,,, Obama might be eloquent, but because McCain and him have different opinions, he will not be able to get away with using the word change every 5 seconds, he will have to directly answer the questions... It should be a great debate. McCain, the old man that he is will end up winning.
  5. Slow down missy !!! Edwards ? EDWARDS ???..Isn't Hillary and Obama mixed together Edwards ? White and clueless ? Sound to familiar for me. Quaffed hair and a Left Wing Godless nut job. This party has a ways to go before any debate. Please do NOT under any circumstance turn the debate into a drinking game. " Take a shot every time Obama says " Ah " or " Um ". You'll get wasted !! Yes Thank them latter.
  6. I guess you're not aware that years of elected service do not correlate in any way to the success of a president. FDR, Teddy Roosevelt, Lincoln, Reagan and Clinton--all considered successful by many people--had very little experience. Calvin Coolidge and Nixon--both considered bad presidents--had a lot of experience. McCain is too old, too conservative and too identified with Bush's disastrous policies to be elected. No one wants four more years of Bush-type governance.
  7. Start by not gloating until the election is over, though I agree, there is virtually no chance for the Dems this time, the election ain't over till it's over. Second, by realizing, as conservatives, that it is the middle of the road candidate who is most popular with the broadest spectrum of voters, not the extreme right, and certainly not the extreme left. Be thankful, humble, gratefull, and very carefull about adding salt to anyones wounds.
  8. I would rather thank them for the show they put on during thr primary. Watching Hillary and Obama go at it has been a hoot.
