If Barack Obama becomes PRESIDENT, will he be assasinated?

I was watching a youtube clip of voters in west virginia saying they think it will be a disgrace if a black man becomes president of united states of america. and some saying he "outta watch his back if that happens"... do you think there will be a assasination attempt on Barack Obama's life if he becomes president? I cant help but think of Robert Kennedy and JFK. Robert Kennedy was killed right after he won the primary. who else is afraid for Obama's life?

  4. Not me. Look at how many people spoke of assassinating Bush. There was even a mockumentary about it. Never materialized. Our Secret Service people are pretty top notch, so I have no fear for our president, whomever they may be.

  8. Nobody's going to assassinate Obama. At least, I certainly hope not. He's not the candidate I want to see as president but he's the father of two young children. From what I've seen, he's a good father ... I've give him that much. I will say that he would do well with some added Secret Service protection because there are nut-jobs out there; the same could be true of Hillary Clinton ... someone might want to take her out, too ... but I seriously doubt that we're in danger of losing a president in this day and age. Let's keep focused on the issues, shall we?

  16. An attempt on his life wouldnt shock me. There are a lot of crazy people out there. However, like others have said, the members of the secret service are good at their job. While I'm sure there is a percentage of people who would hate seeing a black president, I think that the percentage of those that would act on it is infinitely small...but it only takes one.

  18. Actually Bobby Kennedy was killed right after he won the CA primary - he hadn't won the nomination, yet. Also, he was killed by a Palestinian. That's hardlly likely to happen to Obama, who enjoys the support of Hamas. I'm not 'afraid' for his life, though, I'm afraid for America...
