Why do you support Barack Obama for president?

I want to hear the real reasons..policy wise that you think you trust him more to guide the ship, and make the necessary changes.

1. I don't. He has yet to prove himself.
2. You won't get an answer because Ive noticed the majority of Obama supporters don't even know what the issues are and realize he doesn't even have a plan. He can't live up to his promises we CANNOT afford it.
3. I don't support him. I hear him say "YES, WE CAN!" but what can we do? I do hear him say taxing and getting rid of tax breaks for middle class. Not something I support at all.
4. I don't see awhole bunch of people jumping to answer this question. I DO NOT EVEN SUPPORT OBAMA!!! I want to read your answers, and it is a good one. I believe in hell and that what America will be if he is elected. And I believe in God and He will see us through this.
5. Obama is got one of the most practical, logical, realistic and best plan a prez candidate ever put together. Plus he is been senator,eloquent in representation,articulate in presentation, knows the real issues, charismatic and well educated. Uncomfortable? Let the voters decide.
6. Because he is the only candidate running that will not keep our troops in Iraq for 100 years. And he would never allow a hurricane to destroy our land and the lives of our fellow tax paying American citizens, without helping us, the way our current President has. He also will reintroduce the words "foreign diplomacy" in the way they were meant to be used. Instead of threatening to hunt people down and invade countries just because we have the power to do so, I truly believe he would first, try every option to avoid the use of force. He is also the candidate running that is not overly emotional, and will be willing to work across party lines for the common goals of the American people. Hillary could never work with Republicans and Independents the way Barack will, and he already does. McCain, he will further alienate the Dems and continue the war minded legacy of the Bush family and big tax cuts for the rich. Barack does not embrace the policies of George W. Bush and that is what I like the most. I could go in detail about his stance on various issues that I agree with, but this info is all online so you can google it just like I did, that is, if you REALLY care :) OBAMA 08
