Why does everyone say that Barack Obama is too young to be President?

The Constitution says you must be 35 to run for President. Obama is 46. Isn't it time we had a president with enough energy to do the job?

9. It is not accurate to say that "everyone says Barack is too young to be President." He would not be the youngest; John F. Kennedy was 43 when he took office. So it's not his age, it's his lack of experience which concerns potential voters. And if you think either Bill Clinton or George W. Bush lacked the energy to do the job, you haven't been paying attention. Vote for Rudy!
10. John F kennedy became president at 45..he was the youngest to this date.
11. 46 is old enough. At least he doesn't have to go to bed by 9 PM in order to wake up and take runs with his pet dog and sign whatever his neo-con friends tell him to every day. He's got enough experience to know that a president is not a "decider". He can pronounce names correctly, without offending world leaders. And for all you scary,ignorant people, he's a Christian. 12. Why does everybody say that McCain is too old? Just because something is legal doesn't mean its a smart decision to make. My example would be, it might be legal to drink a pint of whiskey in one night, but its probably not the smartest idea ever.
13. Energy has little to do with the job of President. If you want energy in the President, vote for the Energizer Bunny.
