If Barack Obama is President, would Democrats have control?

People say that if Barack Obama is president that the democrats will be able to do what they want with America as the president and congress is democratic. Is this strictly true?

6. The President controls the Congress with the power of the veto. He can block anything they are doing and force a revote. It takes a bigger majority of votes to overturn a veto. No, there are 3 branches of government for one thing.. and the Supreme Court has a slight conservative lean to it right now.... and, in the Senate, just to be able to get something to the floor to have it voted upon... you have to have 60 votes out of 100.... this was done to protect the minority party.. whichever party it may be at the time.... but the simple fact is that is causes a lot of issues to never reach the floor for a true majority vote. Then there are also filibusters.... which history has shown us that the Republicans in the House are not afraid to do... endlessly..... (like not too long ago when they decided to have a debate and vote on if Congress approved of the ideals of Mothers Day or not)
