What is the difference from having Hugo Chavez as our President or having Barack Obama President?
At least Chavez has experience.

- One difference is that Chavez is hispanic.
- I thought they were the same person
- Not much difference.
- Chavez is a better bowler.
- Chavez has more African blood in his veins than Barrack?
- Hugo Chavez is an actually socialist. Barack Obama is not.
- What's the difference from having McCain as our president or having GWB???
- Basically, they are two completely different people. I could give you more, but that should suffice.
- hmmmm. so far as he has said, nothing
- Haven't you heard ? Obama has created a new position on the ticket called "Silent Running Mate". Meet your new SRM: Hugo. And when he's unavailable, there will be several waiting to take his place.
- I would have to improve my Spanish...have been meaning to. Besides Chavez is doing a pretty good job alleviating poverty in his country (increasing education and healthcare availability etc)...but is doing a crappy job of managing the oil industry but he has recently decided to contract several "Big Oil" companies to maximize production efficiency. He still won't allow them to take over Venzuela's oil though if that is what you want.
- Chavez attempted a military coup of his nation in 1992 Obama had never attempted to take over the country by force Chavez has nationalized most everything Obama does not want to nationalize everything in this country. Chavez had no legislative experience prior to taking over the Presidency Obama has 11 years legislative experience Chavez is attempting to change his country's constitution to further his power grab on his nation Obama wants to uphold our constitution and restore it instead of allow the continued deterioration of it as it exists today.
- Uh, Hugo Chavez doesn't have an angry wife spewing her hate-filled rhetoric about false oppression? Yeah, that's the only difference I can see. **snicker** Oh, I thought of something else. Hugo Chavez actually takes a stand on issues and is decisive while Obama seems almost afraid to make a decision or take a stand on anything. He has to first consult with his advisors and the polls before he CHANGES his stance from what he said in his last speech! Maybe that's the kind of CHANGE he's been talking about all these months.**snicker**
- Chavez is one of Obama's heroes?
