how many people are considering Ron Paul for President 08?
please give me reasons behind your answer... ... I FOR ONE BELIEVE THAT HE IS THE MAN. I WANT TO LIVE IN A COMPLETELY FREE COUNTRY. HE IS THE CLOSEST WE WILL EVER GET TO IT WITHOUT ATTEMPTING COMMUNISM.

- You are delusional. I am not going to judge you for liking Ron Paul. I don't know that much about him and some of his ideas are good. However, he won't win. There is no point in supporting him. You will throw your vote away.
- He is not "the man." He is a crazy old retired gynecologist who believes that the solution to all of our problems is abolishing most of the federal government. While I have no doubt that he's sincere, I also think that his "solution" is actually likely to result in making us LESS free, since the states are by far the biggest violators of our rights. I also think that his proposal to pull the USA out of every major treaty organization is suicide - we've tried isolationism once and it didn't work very well. If you think Ron Paul will make us free, you're not paying attention. Libertarianism is a philosophy for ensuring that the rich and powerful stay that way, but for some reason a whole army of lower-middle-class people have been convinced that it's their savior, the poor fools.
- no..I wont waste my vote on a write in that has no chance of getting elected...my vote will actually count because I am voting for a repub prez to counterbalance the dem/lib congress that wants to enact every social program that they ever conceived of and will do so if a dem gets in the oval office...vote repub..don't waste your time writing in anyone
- If ppl lose the "hand outs", so do the illegal residents currently in this country. it also frees money back up that the current US legal residents are able to spend the way they deem fit, not the government. To keep perpetuating this mess now is only going to further destroy any resemblance of what was once a great nation. Time to hit the reset button, clean house and start over. We are not their slaves. Ron Paul 2008.
- I am! When I first saw him 11 months ago, I was like who the heck is this guy. When I saw another couple video's, and then a few other supporters, I was like, why the heck is he not polling higher? So I sent him money, which I have never felt necessary to do for a candidate, so he can advertise better. Now, it seems like there is an actual chance, of getting in, and working for the people for once. Even if he doesn't win, his sane views have matured my own, and many others, which will have to be answered in any future election.
- The gop is 30% of all voters. Only 3% of Republicans (GOP) are voting for Paul. That means he is getting 3% of 30%...for 0.9% of the overall vote. No one wins with just nine tenths of ONE percent of the vote. BTW, in "a completely free country", I will be free to rob, and murder, you with no fear of being sent to jail. I can drive off with your car, and you won't be able to punish me...because I am free to do so.
- Ron Paul seems to be the only candidate who has read the Constitution and believes it to be the document by which we should be governed. I support and will vote for him. I believe anyone who familiarizes themselves with the the Constitution/Bill or Rights will support him also. To the others, welcome to cradle to grave Federal involvement in all aspects of life.
- I am not a Republican - but if I had no other choice I would vote for him over anyone else because at least he is consistent with his limited government ideals. He doesnt say "well limited government unless I have to appease Christian conservatives". He is principled.
- I would never consider voting for him because he blames America for 9/11.
- He has my vote http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_24QoHko6Q
- Ron Paul all the way! Why? He is guided by two things: 1) The Constitution and 2) Common sense. When was the last time we saw that? Most politicians are guided by 1) Votes and 2) Money. Ron Paul can't be bought. He wants to cut government waste and the income tax. He wants to end the war - responsibly and carefully, but end it. He believes you can do a better job taking care of yourself than the government can. He is also the most educated of all the candidates and one of the most experienced. He will not say what is "popular" but instead sticks to thinking about an issue, consulting the constitution and then coming up with a logical, compassionate answer. Love that man!
- I saw something about him accepting donations from a white supremist, so how does he accept that?
