How would President Ron Paul restore the Republic?

And what's wrong with the Republic anyway?

  1. send all Republicans to Mars
  2. Just by being their! He is kick ass and has my vote! Nuff said!
  3. The best thing Ron Paul can do is drop out of the race before he embarrasses himself and his few followers. He is a nut with crazy ideas. He should know as a Congressman that Congress would have to agree to any of his cockamamie ideas, which they won't, so even if by some miracle he did get elected he would be very ineffective in making the kids of loony toon changes he wants to make anyway.
  4. I'm starting to wonder whether Ron Paul is the Howard Dean of the 2007 Republican presidential candidates.
  5. He wouldn't. He won't get the republican nomination because he's a libertarian who is running as republican. He would have had a better chance if he had run as a libertarian or an independent
  6. HE would ask all the dictators to lay down their arms.
  7. Ron Paul would use his common sense and ability to bring others to their senses.! He is way beyond the other polititions, (with their thirst for power and greed. ) Ron Paul wants liberty for you and me. With the Grace of God, he will restore our Freedom!
  8. Ron Paul would work to draw the federal government back to its constitutionally defined role. However, he would be severely restricted by a Congress populated by Democrats and Republicans who do everything in their power to extend federal power; assuming implicit constitutionality. Of course, implicit constitutionality can be cited for doing almost anything that the founders never intended. If nothing else, Paul would shine some light on what the Constitution is all about; to the fact that humans have liberty notwithstanding the Constitution. Our rights are not granted by government. Each specific forfeiture of liberty under contract (the Constitution) was considered in depth and any abuse beyond the explicit bounds set forth in that contract should be taken very seriously.
  9. do you mean the democratic republic ? you missed a key word there - here is samplefrom his website Working Americans like lower taxes. So do I. Lower taxes benefit all of us, creating jobs and allowing us to make more decisions for ourselves about our lives. Whether a tax cut reduces a single mother’s payroll taxes by $40 a month or allows a business owner to save thousands in capital gains taxes and hire more employees, that tax cut is a good thing. Lower taxes allow more spending, saving, and investing which helps the economy — that means all of us. Real conservatives have always supported low taxes and low spending. But today, too many politicians and lobbyists are spending America into ruin. We are nine trillion dollars in debt as a nation. Our mounting government debt endangers the financial future of our children and grandchildren. If we don’t cut spending now, higher taxes and economic disaster will be in their future — and yours. In addition, the Federal Reserve, our central bank, fosters runaway debt by increasing the money supply — making each dollar in your pocket worth less. The Fed is a private bank run by unelected officials who are not required to be open or accountable to “we the people.” Worse, our economy and our very independence as a nation is increasingly in the hands of foreign governments such as China and Saudi Arabia, because their central banks also finance our runaway spending. We cannot continue to allow private banks, wasteful agencies, lobbyists, corporations on welfare, and governments collecting foreign aid to dictate the size of our ballooning budget. We need a new method to prioritize our spending. It’s called the Constitution- thisi is just a small sample but I dont want to fill your question with what would be overkill
