Can I Still Vote Ron Paul for President?
Can I still vote for Ron Paul come election time, or is he out of the race? I haven't been persuaded by the Demorats or the Repigs, so who can I vote for?

- Go ahead-you can write in anyone you want including you- that is law.:)
- yes dr paul is still running, and is a viable cadidate.
- You can write him in but you have to decide if you want to give up the chance to vote for a viable candidate. If you don't care at all which of the two main candidates wins, or if, by election day, it seems obvious who will win, then you might as well vote for Ron Paul.
- You can still vote for him, but you'll be throwing your vote away if you do it.
- Yes, as long as he's in there, he's a valid vote.
- I presume you mean "Can you vote for Ron Paul in the Republican Primary?" In short yes, however John McCain has already received enough delegates to be assured nomination. Even if everyone eligible to vote for Ron Paul voted for him he cannot possibly receive the Republican (or for that matter any) party nomination at this point. Additionally, Ron Paul has repeatedly stated that he will not run for president if he does not receive the Republican nomination. Of the states that have yet to hold a primary you may vote for any candidate if you are in North Carolina, Indiana, West Virginia, Puerto Rico or Montana. If you are in Pennsylvania, Guam, Oregon, Kentucky, or South Dakota you may only vote for the Candidates running that are in your own party. If you are in one of these states and are an independent you cannot vote in the primary.
- I am very sorry but a vote for Ron Paul is little to late. Please vote Hillary and in 4 years get Ron Paul in office.
- Have you seen his video i just love it out of all the campaign ads his is my favorite http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3MLTvYBQy0
- He has not dropped out. But realistically, whether is he is the best candidate or not, he's not going to have enough votes. For two reasons: 1) the popular vote really doesn't matter. 2) the media doesn't allow any debatable information out about Ron Paul. Honestly, they don't release any useful information about any of the candidates. It's all a drama show until the very last moment, when it's voting time. Who's fault is that? Shouldn't voters research themselves? Yes, but the media should also provide unbiased news about ALL candidates and an equal amount of time for all candidates whether they THINK that candidate has a chance or not. When did it become the media's responsibility to choose what WE(the whole country) see and what we don't see? *If you want to really make a difference, you might do some research with your 'voter registration office' in your county to become a delegate for your precinct and easily make a difference. Personally, I can tell you that it was surprisingly tolerant, as long as your willing to learn quickly and think on your toes(don't we do that every day?). You can propose resolutions that can range from stopping tollways from charging money to stopping the IRS from charging us taxes.
- if you are in a state that hasn't had its primary, sure. But his name won't be on the ballot in the general election, and he certainly will not be endorsing McCain. Check out Nader, he's running as an independent.
- In the remaining primaries, you may be able to vote for any number of former Republican or Democratic candidates....their names may still be on the ballot, though their campaigns have long since ended (since they qualified to be on the ballot, their names will remain in most cases). In the general, you can throw your vote away by writing in any name for the presidency. You can take pen to paper and fill in Ron Paul, Paul McCartney or John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin...or vote for a third party candidate as a "protest."
- If you live in a state that has yet to have their primary I would check your states rules. For example the state I live in you can only vote in the Democratic primary if you are registered at a Democrat- not a Republican, Independent, or other. If the primary has passed I believe you can just write his name on the ballot for the general election. He wouldn't be my choice but I think everyone should have their say. If you are still open minded about who to vote for (cause lets face Ron Paul can't win) check out the other canidates.
- If Ron Paul stands for the values that you support then a vote for him is not wasted. Anyone who does not meet your standards should never get your vote but anytime a political candidate is well known for what he stands for, and is not shy about telling it the way it is, then he deserves no less than your support. There are those who have a past record that will reveal their stance on the constitution and after checking their public record you will find, like I did, that the other candidates have shown that they have little respect for the rights guaranteed to us by the constitution and you should not support them. I will not waste my vote on them.
