Does Old man John Mccain really think he has any chance in hell to beat Obama ?

What chances does he really have with Obama ? Is John Mccain really the straw man ?

Public Comments

  1. none
  2. He's senile, he's completely losing it. I say we all just kick back, and enjoy the show, shall we? Popcorn anyone?
  3. Well, based on recent state polls, if the election was held today, Obama would win by a margin of 28 electoral votes. (283 vs 255). Not to mention, Obama is consistently leading in nationwide polls by 4 percent or more. Here how it breaks down McCain can get the following states and still lose to Obama: Michigan (swing state) Florida and the rest of the South The Midwest New Hampshire and Indiana Alaska Obama can win with just The West Mid East North East Colorado, New Mexico Hawaii
  4. not a chance http://www.simpsoncrazy.com/gallery/screenshots/lists/news_198.jpg BRET!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. He obviously does. Here's a thought: In 2004, there were those who thought Bush didn't have a chance in hell against Kerry. More recently, in 2008, there were those who thought Obama didn't have a chance in hell against hillary.
  6. McCain is in the lead i would say due to the fact that the democratic party is split even though it is claimed that unity is being manifested through the gracious drop of Hillary Clinton. Problem here though is that Obama needs to claim the Latino, Women, and White working class in order to obtain a higher majority. Without the Hillary supporters (which are stressing that Hillary should be in the ballot) will not vote for Obama, or vote for McCain, or vote as an Independent.
  7. For the sake and good of our country, he will win. Obama is flashy with no substance or experience, and yes, for you young people out there, experience does count. Try getting a good job without it.
  8. Yes Obamas only up 4 points in the polls.......within the margin of error watch come november we will all be say presdant McCain like we should......Obama has no experance...
  9. He has a better chance than you expect. Many people see right through this 'class' warfare crap of middle class tax cuts and tax the rich and big companies. Obama doesn't know good economic policy and has already started flip flopping and moderating his view on Iran. Most people voting remember Jimmy Carter and the economic crisis he caused. Remember windfall profits during the 70's? Didn't work then and won't work now. Simple economics. Tax profits, you reduce incentive and therefore supply and create......HIGHER PRICES!
  10. Apparently McCain thinks so. Most women will not vote for McCain when they find out he will set back women's rights 100 years! For example: "Aides to McCain said perhaps he could have been clearer in comments he made to the San Francisco Chronicle and CNN, but that he had not wavered from his long-term opposition to abortion or his belief that Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion, should be repealed." -McCain consistently votes against women and children's health initiatives and Educational programs and he voted against a minimum wage increase SEVEN TIMES -
  11. Does it matter? Head for Canada. Or Mexico, if you're in the south. This country is teetering on the edge of the next great depression, and no matter who becomes president it's gonna go downhill. Especially considering NEITHER candidate has any grasp of the economy. McCain has claimed he needs to be educated on economy in an interview.
  12. I think that if Obama is elected president - we will regret that decision and in less than a year on this site we will be asking what can we do to get him out. But that is my opinion. My only worry about McCain is that he is not in great health - despite current lack of health problems he has had several serious health issues in the last several years. So his selection of a running mate will decide for me who I might vote for. I had said I would vote for McCain if the DNC did not give Michigan their delegates for the convention. But the more I read about McCain the more I like what he has to say. There are lots of people like me who are basically being counted as Democrats but really not sure I will vote Democratic this time. If McCain said he has lots to learn about the economy then at least he knows his own limitations and is willing to learn. That is better than Obama who thinks he knows it all - but still has a lot to learn.
  13. Has a great chance, people who follow politics closely know he has no chance of winning the swing states at all. He will loose big time. McCain will trounce him. If you think what Rove and the swift boat veterans for truth did to Kerry in 2004 was bad you just wait. The G.O.P have an artillery of cannon fodder on Obama. I can't wait until this heats up. Should be really exciting :) McCain 2008!
  14. Hell no. McCain is going to fry Obama's butt.
  15. No Obama is the it guy this year...
  16. Yes, and millions of people like me will vote for McCain to make sure it happens.
  17. Think back in 1932 with Roosevelt and Hoover. Then you'll find your answer.
