With the US economy sailing toward recession, is Mitt Romney the only candidate able to right the ship?

I mean, the man has an MBA from Harvard, experience as CEO of a major business firm, proven fiscal restraint as a Governor. What more can you want? He can speak in facts, whereas the other candidates have to resort to generalites and innuendo when it comes to macro-economics

  1. I have some news for you. The Congress has much more control over the economy than the President.
  2. I think that he would be good for our economy.
  3. "What more can you want?" Honesty.. Mitt Romney is a proven habitual liar.
  4. Your Boy Romney got beat up on today. Why isn't Romney ever question about his racist religion beliefs? They are always asking about Obama's but never Romney's detail beliefs? They have racist beliefs. Ask them????
  5. Every time a Presidential administration tries to interfere with the natural flow of the economy, sheet happens. Leave it alone, and let the market decide. It's not the President's job. If Romney wants that job, he can apply for the Chairman of the Federal Reserve.
  6. Mitt cannot outsource enough government jobs to change the $50,000,000,000,000.00 Debt, or the yearly $3,000,000,000,000.00 Government bill! It is INSANE to think a business man can do the job of an economist, or even consider the cuts of unconstitutional government that are needed to fix our problem!
  7. There is a world of difference in running a company and running an economy. All of the candidates are well educated but it's not as if Bush's Harvard MBA saved us from the problems we have now. You are going to have to do a lot better than that to sell him.
  8. i don't think anyone can fix it , its in natural down wood adjustment,if you look a dollar and the price of oil, economic power is slipping away.........its going to china .....india.......and other countries ,so who ever gets in they will be pushing shit up hill. you guys are stuffed
  9. A Republican President's fiscal policies helped put us into this recession; it is ridiculous to believe that another Republican will get us out. It is time for a change; anyone but a Republican!
  10. i will be voting for him- this and other reasons- i feel he is the most qualified. i have researched all GOP candidates- and he is who i feel will be able to give us the best turn around and really point this country in the right direction. **beyounce- this is the 2nd time you have gone off about what mormons "believe" please get your facts straight before you get all hot and bothered and start posting things. why dont you ask a mormon what they believe- maybe then you won't be so confused and emotional about something that has nothing to do with politics http://www.mormon.org./mormonorg/eng/
  11. If you put it that way, Bloomberg will be a better candidate than Romney. Romney was a very astute businessman, however his public record in Mass. was dismal. Bloomberg was not only a successful businessman, but his public record in NYC is phenomenal. People have to realize that the private and public sectors are different.
  12. I have to agree with you 100%. I was not for Romney until I heard his speeches in Michigan. He was right on. I do not believe in everything that Romney believes in, however, over all I think that he is a smart man who knows business very well. He would make a good president. I did not know that Romney had a MBA from Harvard. He is very intelligent guy.
  13. no, he is fiscally irresponsible, just look at how he wasted his campaign funds on negative ads against his rivals
