Is there any person worthier of the Presidency than John McCain?
There are times in this nation’s history so perilous that they cry out for a steady, experienced leader, a person so trusted that we would put the fate of this country in his hands. This is one of those times, and Sen. John McCain is that person,” the newspaper said.

- Yes, Ron Paul. John McCain was involved in racketeering(google: keating 5) and received over 100 demerits in the navy. Ron Paul was elected 10 times to congress. not to mention his expertise in the medical field, economics and foreign policy.
- The cold war was perilous, a few Islamic extremists are not that big a deal. Terrorism should be handled by police action against the wrongdoers, not occupation of the Middle East. The real peril is the impending dollar collapse, and only one candidate understands monetary policy... Ron Paul.
- Yes, most people are.
- Can't think of anyone admire more. He's the man. But am afraid he won't be nominated.
- Ron Paul http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_24QoHko6Q
- Ron Paul McCain is a neocon who is just as anti gun, pro illegal alien as hillary and obama. Then the fact McCain refuses to acknowlege the 700+ POWS alive in NAM to this day. McCain is a traitor. I would have much respect for McCain if he showed effort to get those POWs back. But he fears it will damage his political career.
- Yeah, there's this one guy named Ron Paul who has never voted to contradict the Constitution ever in his life. But the criteria I'm using is his service (both military and political) to the country.
- He is a heck of alot more worthy then most
- Ron Paul!!
- Ron Paul This is your last chance America.... but then I'm pretty sure you'll let me down. It's par for this course.
- Ron Paul!
- yeah, According to the constitution, somebody who was born in the U.S.A.
- The newspaper is WRONG! The real problem we are facing is not the "terrorists." The "terrorist" problem is hyped up by our current government to support their terrible foreign policy. The real threat to this country is the collapse of our dollar. We are spending money we don't have on things that we don't need. The Federal Reserve system is designed to benefit the rich, because the rich are the only people who can keep up with inflation. We need to return to the gold standard and abolish the Federal Reserve system. The only person worthy of a vote is Ron Paul. edit... Oh yeah... forgot to mention that I'm rich. Voting for Ron Paul is in everyone's best interest. Micheal B- When John Edwards was asked if he would promise to bring our troops home by the end of his 4 year term he said "No." If you want to end the war vote for Ron Paul.
- yes that would be Ron Paul also a vet also experienced and with real ideals for change in America
- There is someone else not only worthier, but who is honest and full of integrity. That is Ron Paul. He wants to save America from the dollar and economical collapse, he wants to return power to the states, has fiscal conservative and libertarian views, is the only anti-war republican, served 10 times in Congress as a Republican, always voted for low taxes, wants to downsize our government and spend less, bring all troops home from the unneeded 700 bases around the world, and lastly, but not least, he defends and obeys our Constitution.
- John McCain doesn't deserve to be president after that ridiculous bulletproof vest photo-op. I'm supporting Obama.
- If it wasn't for his support of this misbegotten war even after he was demonized by Bush in 2000, I would consider him the best of the Republicans running for Prez. He even votes for them when they have been torturing people. He knows better than than anyone else that those type of actions tarnishes his fine military and congressional record. That is a sell out of his values. I want a president who wants to get our troops out of Iraq, Keep us out of Iran, Has a plan for how to treat the soldiers when they return, cares about the middle class who will have to pay for the wars and wants to fix the health care crisis, and show real leadership in combatting global warming. All that and restore our image in the world. That candidate is John Edwards.
- It's not about worthiness. Bob Dole paid his dues as an American and as a faithful GOP foot soldier for decades. He probably would have made a perfectly decent president. America wanted to stay with Bill Clinton. It's not much more complicated than that.
- Yes. Someone who is against amnesty and for tax cuts. I respect McCain for his military service but I do not think that he is steady, has the right kind of experience, is a leader, or trustworthy.
