Does anyone else feel that John McCain isnt up with the times?

The United States is nearly 30% minority and 15% non-English speaking. But by the way John McCain talks, it seems that he is under the impression that America is still full of white, Christian, principled, patriotic citizens. Does anyone else feel this way? That John McCain has lost all touch with modernity and the modern, diverse America?

  1. no.
  2. Well, he believes Putin is the leader of Germany so no...I'd have to say he's not keeping up real well.
  3. He's clueless! It took 6 months of the American people beating him over the head verbally for him to understand that we do NOT want amnesty.
  4. I don't know my friend
  5. No I'm pretty sure it's just you
  6. yeah his favorite TV show is probably All in the Family
  7. mccain has a lot of issues. for one, not realizing he's really a liberal.
  8. 70% of the vote is a majority. either way, his appeal lies with reasonable and inteligent people, not just with white people. he takes stances on issues based on what the majority of the american people want, not what he personally believes.
  9. McCain is a Highly respected, and well like Republican, with a lot of experience, and he is Liberal for a Republican. Hillary can face McCain and Win. Obama does not have a chance in the world to beat McCain. Hillary has been treating Obama with kid gloves but McCain will hold no punches. Hillary '08
  10. 70% of America is white and Christian.
  11. no
  12. John Mccain is 71. If elected he would beat Ronald Reagan as the oldest president in history. So its not surprising he represents a bygone era of idealism. Mccain is a great american hero, but that doesn't mean he would be a good president. Obama 08
  13. Yes, but I dislike Hilary, too. I vote for Obama form beginning.
  14. Yes, I agree that he is behind the times, although less for your reasons than the reason that he doesn't offer America anything new. He's pro-war, he's conservative, and he's not a minority. This election could be something revolutionary. McCain would be a decent president (certainly better than Bush), but we need someone who would really bring change to our nation. That someone is Barack Obama. Vote Barack Obama '08
  15. What do u expect of "Tales from the Crypt",....... reality?? And his wife looks like MS Dracula!
  16. i would have to agree with the last thing you said he is under the impression of .... patriotic citizens . where have they all gone ???? john mccain isnt going to be dancing to hip-hop but he is in touch with what matters ... keeping America safe , because without the USA being safe ... all the other sh*t doesnt matter !!!
  17. Yes. Thats precisely why I'm voting for him.
  18. no i disagree with that
  19. well an interesting question , but think maybe america has changed in some areas . i don't think mccain has lost touch , its more that america has changed in recent years .
  20. Well, considering that he is the Senator of Arizona, which is right on the Mexican border, I'm fairly confident that he knows who lives in this country. He has dealt with hispanics his whole time in office. I'm not sure why you would have this opinion.
  21. Weird question....are you saying that the "New America" is better than the Old ? Go play a video game or something. We'll we did get rid of Saddam Hussein and his sons....maybe the new is better? McCain will be a fine prez. I hope Rudy is the VP. I'd totally vote for him if that were the case.
  22. Careful assuming that the world is as you and your friends see it. I notice people tend to hang out with others with like interest and end up thinking that "Everyone thinks the same as I do, so this or that will happen!" In 2004 a young girl said to me that Kerry would be our next president. I asked why ? She said because "everyone I know hates Bush and is voting for Kerry". I sat there for a moment and then said "everyone I know is voting for Bush " Think about that for a minute. Neither of us were lying nor stupid.
  23. Yes
  24. McCain with the best choice of a PUPPET for the Bushies. Yes, face a larger-than-life truth... America will soon be under the control of UAE. Alan Greenspan and the Bushies have started pleading for deals and kowtowing to UAE: http://www.ameinfo.com/149271.html Yes, McCain wants victory in Iraq... at the cost of selling off America to UAE....? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080309/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_war_costs Where do we get the money to continue funding the Iraq War? UAE, I guess. Guess what? UAE will control us and the world... http://uaeinteract.com/docs/RAK_GDP_grows_by_more_than_50__over_the_last_four_years./28358.htm http://uaeinteract.com/docs/Emirates_GDP_up_16.48/28096.htm http://uaeinteract.com/docs/UAEs_non-oil_GDP_to_exceed_70_/28130.htm ... and didn't UAE fund the 9/11 terrorist attack on the US???
