John McCain wanting the war in Iraq to continue and aggression with Iran too means he is out of touch? senile perhaps? He'll lose the election in November of 2008 simply for believing those two things. Who would want the war to continue or for the United States to get aggressive with Iran... you would have to be callous and disconnected from the situation and no more than an armchair Fox News quaterback to endorse that drivel.

  1. Those things don't prove he's out of touch or senile. There are plenty of "in touch", much younger, people who agree with him. He's wrong of course, but that doesn't make him senile. He's just one representative of a traditional school of American thought that says if somebody is giving you trouble, you beat him up - without regard to the consequences or the morality of the action. That's called "patriotism."
  2. He doesn't "want" the war in Iraq to continue, he wants to win it rather than do another cut 'n run. There is a big difference between the two.
  3. not only out of touch, dangerous.
