Who thinks that John McCain will be the next President of the USA?
I think that the democrat party has no play in the Elections because Americans will not vote a Black man or a Woman into office. No matter whether or not their political views are valid and could strengthen America. I do believe that The Veteran P.O.W. Republican John McCain will win without a doubt. That is my Prediction for the Future. Any one care to Shoot me down. Hillary and Obama is just a small battle McCain will win the WAR.

- Sadly, i think this is true. I dont think that the electoral college is planning to vote for a african american or a women any time soon
- I do, I do....
- While I do think McCain will probably be the next president, you're wrong that "Americans will not vote a black man or a woman into office." Obama did poorly in the South, but he won a lot of western caucuses where the population is overwhelmingly white. In fact, his strength is middle-to-upper class and educated white people. Hillary Clinton pulls in white women and old people. I think the primaries are proving that Americans don't care about race and sex as much as people previously thought.
- I actually doubt it because the country is looking for change. I actually think Clinton will win, but definately not hoping for it. I am a white male republican and I would vote for Obama before I voted for Clinton Most of the country is looking for an end to the Iraq war and they know it will not happen if McCain is elected. The only question would be who is next? Iran?
- I think it's just plain naive to believe that America will elect a Republican this time at all after what they've done to us over the past 8 years. Our country has fallen so far. We can't let it fall any further, and I think most people know the only way to pick ourselves up is to put a Democrat in office. Here's a little tidbit of information: The GOP voters, as a group, would never elect a woman or a black man. Ever. That's a given. However, the Democrats would, and I believe that the independents are largely going to side with us, because they are as sick of the Republicans as we are. Whoever the Democratic nominee is, whether it be Obama or Hillary, that person WILL be the next President. I strongly believe that.
- I talked to a friend of mine who was like me and a big Duncan Hunter supporter, then he was telling me how he believed that McCain has seen the light on Amnesty and will now work to get rid of illegals. Personally I think its just talk (I have trust issues), but if he is the winner I will hold him to it. But from what I've seen the Democrats offer, I will gladly continue to vote Republican.
- mcain sucks he looks like bush
- Yes.
- its almost john mclane like from die hard people probably think they r voting for an action hero =P
- I hope and pray it will never ever happen.
- i totally agree with you!! i am voting for McCain! we already had a clinton in office and you see where that got us,so no i dont want another clinton in office and obama i surely dont want, not because of his color,i dont care about that, i dont want him in for what he stands for! he wont even put his hand over his heart when we salute America... he is a terrorist from his country if you read about him, which i have, anyone who votes for him,i feel sorry for... you are making a huge mistake... he is telling you all lies...... if he is elected,he will bring his people over here and then we will have some very serious problems... DONT DO IT!!!!! VOTE McCAIN!!! HE IS A TRUE AMERICAN!!!!
- If the majority of Americans want us out of Iraq (and we do) then the majority will note vote for a man who wants to keep our troops there forever. Obama will fall short of Clinton and the Clinton machine will roll into Washington again and start a "witch hunt" to bring to justice the traitors of the Bush administration.
- The chances of John McCain being president are slim. I think you have underestimated America's willingness to elect a woman or a person of any race. McCain's future political success or failure will be determined by many factors, including his record as a senator, his support or lack of support by members of his party who either like him or resent his opposition to conservative principles, his age and temperament, and the comparison of him as a potential leader relative to the merits of the nominee of the Democrat Party.
- If Clinton wins the Democratic nomination, then I don't think she will win against John McCain, because she is a Clinton. I think that Obama has a better chance against McCain.
- Well a white woman or a black man could not possibly fuck up this country more than it already is. I just think its time for big change and if it takes a white woman or a black man to make it, well bring it on.
- I predicted that about 2 weeks ago. Actually, CNN told me. You can tell who has a good chance at winning if you watch CNN for half an hour and see who they talk about most. Unfortunately, the candidate CNN and Fox Noise Channel spend the most time discussing usually has the best chance. Just look at Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee's results in the primary, then watch CNN for 15 minutes or so. You'll find out why they didn't do as well.
- we donnot yet know who will be running but it looks like mccain and i know he is a millitary vet and a pow so that leaves me no other choice. i would rather have a vet than a novice only because he is part black or just because she is a she and i did like bill but she should not get elected on account of bill
- I don't think McCain will win. I do worry that people might not vote for a woman or a black man. I hope I am wrong. But alot of people assume that I would vote for Hillary because I am a woman, and that simply isn't true. If McCain is the Rep nominee than I will vote for whoever is the Democrat.
- A McCain presidency is looking like a real possibility right now. I disagree with you that "Americans will not vote a black man or a woman into office." The problem with Obama and Hillary is not that he's black and that she's a woman. The problem is that they are both very liberal and cannot hide their liberalism -- and Americans don't elect presidents who are clearly liberal. In '92 and again in '96, Bill Clinton won election by successfully pretending to be conservative, or at least a moderate. .
- McCain is the last of the 20th century war hero type candidates. His upcoming defeat will hopefully convince the party brass to recognize they can't win elections by trying to out democrat the Democrats.
