How does John McCain have a chance at winning the Republican nomination?

I watched an interview two nights ago with all five leading Republican Presidential candidates and every time they asked John McCain a question, he made reference to his military days. He usually didn't even answer the question asked, but instead reminded everybody that he was a POW and a military leader. Are people too dumb to see through him? I feel for him and all POWs, but there are thousands of them and that doesn't mean that they deserve support to lead America.

Public Comments

  1. People like McCain because he is true to his beliefs. While I disagree with many of his stances I respect the man for standing for what he believes instead of letting polls tell him what to think
  2. God bless him for the sacrifices he made for the U.S. during his military career. However, being one thing does not qualify a person for something else. A man can be an excellent mechanic but if he wants to have a T.V. cooking show without a clue on how to cook, there's no value in him telling an audience of chefs how much experience he has rebuilding an engine.
  3. By an Exorcism.
  4. All the Republican candidates have serious flaws, so sure he has a chance. I'd rather have him than Romney, the lowlife disgusting negative flip flopper as the candidate.
  5. He doesn't. I think he's starting to get a clue. Everybody sees right through him. Relax. He's not going anywhere.
