26. Well, his pastor is supposed to be Christian but his words and actions would suggest otherwise. Obama has a Muslim background, both father and step father were Muslim. His name, first, middle and last is of Muslim origin. He is close friends with the leader of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan. And the most disturbing thing to me came from his own book; From Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.' I don't necessarily claim he's a Muslim, but he certainly is very sympathetic to their cause.
27. For you misinformed people is father was atheist and mother never practiced. Obama is not an African name it is a Muslim name. Which turns out his grandfather was. His grandfather attended the mosque in Kenya when Obama lived with him with his parents. Considering his name is not christian but a muslim name it seems logically to think he is muslim. Just as converted Christians change their name to Muslim names ie, Lew Alcinder (Kareem Abdul Jabbar), you would think you would change your name to christian although not needed as in the Muslim community. I wouldn't vote for him for many reasons but not his religion. A poll taken says 89% did not know his religion 6% thought he was christian the 7% thought he was Muslim.
