Brak wants to know, "Why do people compare John McCain to President Bush"?
Aren't there any differences between John & George?
Public Comments
- george is a conservative and john is a liberal posing as a conservative and they have similar stance on the war in iraq thats all
- They have different names. Love the avatar, by the way.
- John McCain is more committed to cut spending than I think GWB has been. McCain, however, has voted against any and all tax cuts, unlike Bush who favors them. In fact, they have been political adversaries for the last 7 1/2 years. McCain has been a huge pain in the @ss to GWB
- the are both old
- We'll find out for sure after Jan. 09
- They should know better..........Georgie is one of a kind.
- NO - thanks
- Because the are continuing the war.
- That's all the Democrats have to go on. McCain is a Republican. They know if they keep Bush's name out front that that will cause people to pause. They are wrong, of course. McCain has presented the ways he is different. McCain will win the war, and come home victorious!
- Other than age and being warmongers, not much.
- The differences are age, both are war lords
- Sure there are a few: John will keep war going longer and in more places. John will destroy the economy even more. John would have set a record for the oldest President elected 72. Same stuff: Protect and work the economy for the rich.
- Between the two of them, they know how to give and take a beating.
- Yeah the difference is George dosen't give a ish how high you're gas gets, how many of your neighbors foreclose, or your rising cost of health care. McCain will give every major contribitor to his campain (which is mostly corporate america) every break possible, in order to keep you down. So the difference is. George dosen't care cause he has nothing to lose and Mccain will tell you wan't you want to hear to win. He won't go against his contribitors so you decide.
- There is a big difference. One was a military man and the other was a businessman. Thats a big difference no matter how you stretch it.
- Because both are Republicans. John is so much better than George. But not many people agree because if John makes it as president, the troops will stay in Iraq for 100 years.
- I am an independent. It's the all Democrat party does. If other Republican nominees elected than John MC Cain, would still be bashing by Democrat Party for connecting to Bush's theories or part of his administration. Just simply because of the name of Republican party the nominees registers to. It is just the political game they play against Republican Party regardless of who the Republican nominee would have been. The way I see. John MC Cain is different from George W. Bush is. John MC Cain as a moderate. George W. Bush is very conservative. He had been Democrat, Independent then coverted to Republican in early 80's. He is a little of everything of three parties. John could work well with Democrats, George could not do well on it. I don't want to see any divide in the Congress again. I want a president to bring the issues to be bipartisan, not a partisan all the time. That 's why Democratic controlled in Congress got 73% disapproved and only 13% percent approved.
- I don't know maybe to divert attention how people compare him to the racists like Rev Wright. Obama pitches such hissy fit when it doesn't go his way. I don't trust him.
