How intense do you think election day will be?

It seems that this election has been extremely controversial. We've dealt with a severely declining economy, a war that's costing us trillions, gas prices sky rocketing...plus we've had a female presidential candidate and a black presidential candidate. I think the election is going to be very intense!

  1. I think fights may break out on election day. It has been such an intense situation already.
  2. like any other day really! it wouldn't be a surprise..because we would've already known results from the polls which would have correctly predicted the outcome.
  3. I think so too and am looking forward to it
  4. the vast majority of voters are not donating money to candidates or posting on Y!A. it'll just be another day. turnout will be high and people will talk and trade opinions while waiting to vote. then they'll go home or to work and go about living their lives.
  5. Very intense. I'm bringing a flame-thrower to the national convention.
  6. I think it is actually going to be pretty boring. McCain and ? McCain is the only one that has significant experience.
  7. Very, because the people want Hillary and the things that are good to prevail
  8. I think the day after could be very intense if it is close, Obama is the nominee and he doesn't win. People do some very bad things in the name of perceived racism when things don't go their way. I hope I am wrong here, but recent history supports my position on this. As for the rest. All of those things will make for a lively and possibly rude general election season, but I believe the mood will be one of the dye is cast on election day.
  9. its already intense and that's good. The people are involved that's very good.Change can bring out the worst in people.Fear of the new! Obama 2008! Ebony & Ivory President!
  10. I think this will be a very intense election day. I know that I will be staying up very late election night because the future of our nation is literally at stake. Will we elect a candidate who will keep us mired in Iraq and probably Iran, or one who has the intent and ability to use diplomacy as well as our military power, who knows how to negotiate even with our enemies and to whom war is a last resort rather than a first step? Will we elect a candidate who will help the poor and middle class to improve their situation and become less dependent on government, or one who will continue to siphon the nation's economy into the pockets of the very wealthy? George W. Bush has done more damage to this country than perhaps any President before him. Will we elect a President who will continue on that same course, or one who will get America back on track, give the government back to the American People, and restore our moral character and our place as a world leader? This election historical not only because of having a Black or female candidate. It is the most important election any living US citizen has seen. The most important, and possibly even more important, than the election that put Abraham Lincoln into office.
  11. Probably anti climatic. We will be stuck with which ever joker wins for the next 4 years. May god have mercy on us for we all will need it.
  12. I think more media hype, than anything else...
