If McCain wins the presidential election, is it the fault of the Democrats because they cannot agree on a candidate? The decision on the August convention is too late! Now they waste time and power to fight against each other.

  1. it is because he ran the best campaign and most American agree with him
  2. I do agree that the democrats are making a mistake in not being able to have a clear "presumptive" nominee. However, maybe they will eventually get it together and unite against "us" by the time November rolls around!
  3. You can't blame anyone for anything, this is a blameless society.
  4. The fault is Obama. We already had Hillary Clinton, a good candidate who could win the general election this fall and then Obama jumped in and made a huge mess of things. Obama cannot win the general election, all he can do is win the Democratic nomination. All he can do is make a mess. Which is what he has done.
  5. No....It would be the electoral college again...like when Bush got elected. McCain is as weak as a kitten and can't go head-to-head with either Obama or Clinton...the DEMs have this in the bag, just not sure which DEM it will be yet. I know that America's middle-class connot withstand anymore attacks from a Republican administration. It is time to help the needy not the greedy so vote Democratic or watch our country crumble.
  6. Precisely. The longer "the fight" between the two democratic candidates continues, the more problematic it will be. If it continues on until August, there's going to be a real problem. The party is already becoming intensely divided. I dont think that either candidate should "drop out" at this point. We need to find out how the FL/MI delegates will be seated. The polls reflect that 19% of Obama's supporters will vote for McCain if he is not the choice, while 28% of Hillary's supporters will vote for McCain if she is not the choice. Commentators say "Oh, democrats won't vote for a republican." However, I disagree. So much resentment has built up that I think we may just end up propelling McCain to victory in the fall.
