Who should i vote for in this upcoming American election?
Who? Why? These are the questions I have. I would like someone to list the pros and cons for voting for Obama and Hillary. In reality I am clueless on the election, and I just want someone to restore the U.S.A to what it was.

- You should vote to impeach the entire government and kill off most of the humans on earth so the rest of them can live in peace with the animals.
- Obama is the one.......regardless of who or whom tries to stop him.
- I can't tell you ... You need to weight all the people running and make your own choice... Good luck...
- i would have to say barack obama! we have a good chance with choosing him!
- i know i'm not american, but uk now i watch the news, and i'm not trusting obama, he seems exactly like blair, exactly, so i guarentee u'll all hate him pretty soon for various reasons even if he's initially v popular. xx
- Walter for President JeffDunham.com Arguing with Myself and Spark of Insanity
- McCain He loves America
- Rather than have someone list them out, you could research it to look at the facts and get an unbiased perspective. you shouldn't be voting for those two socialists anyway.
- Ron Paul check out his website! http://www.ronpaul2008.com/
- and has anyone else heard that Obama is the anti-christ? I mean come on, he is a muslim and has ties to all those people. I say don't vote..I wonder what would happen if NOBODY in this country ever voted..I know that wouldn't happen.
- You should vote for Ralph Nader (Green party) in 2008 because he is the only candidate who will look after the needs of the people. Obama & Hillary do not talk about real issues because these conflict with essential corporate backers. Why aren't we talking about: a full pull out from Iraq? enforcement of consumer laws? fair media and election process for third parties? wasteful military spending? corporate greed and misanthropy? privacy laws and freedoms? Gulf War syndrome and radiation poisoning? corporate subsidies? impeachment of bush/cheney? governement subsidized 20 nuclear power plant plans that will be terrorist targets? health care reform that benefits the people and is not focused on the needs of drug and insurance companies? The media is complicit. Only the Green party is talking about these issues.
- I would say It doesnt matter who you vote for we are all in trouble..
- This may not be the best place for the information you are looking for. Most who respond will be extremists for either side with an agenda, so there may not be much more here than dogma. I would read as much as you can on the candidates, find the one who most represents you views, and vote for them. No candidate will ever represent 100% of your views, but choose the best you have. The USA may never be what it was. We manufacture very little and have basically become a giant service industry. With worldwide terrorism, we will never feel safe like we once did. But we can try to elect people who will not spend our country into oblivion. Once, the Democrats were considered to be the party for big government and crazy spending. The Republican party and Bush have now taken over that title, and, by lowering taxes on the richest 1%, has created the largest deficeit in history. You have a choice and you are taking the first step. Educate yourself and don't let yourself be intimidated by the extremists on YA.
- The answer for this question really is just going to be a personal bias, for pretty much anyone who answers it. So here's MY personal bias: I really like Obama. I really like how hopeful he is about the future, and how he doesn't b.s. or sugarcoat the problems middle-income and "poor people" are facing right now, or about the war or the economy in general. He does lack experience, and sometimes I do wonder if he really has a plan to get us out of where we are now. But I do think he would be really cooperative with foreign nations, to try to get help for our flailing economy. And really, it's advisors and aids who run the country. We've seen that in the past. They do all the foot-work and research and tell the president what's best. The decision, yes, no, maybe so just comes down to who's in office. Hillary, is well, Hillary. She's a bit cocky, and seems a little bit out of touch with what REAL American's are facing. She's exaggerated things in the past, how can we be sure she won't do that in the future. She was in the whitehouse already, and a lot of people gave her credit for running the country anyways while her husband was in office. Personally I liked Bill, but I'm not convinced Hillary completely knows what she's getting herself into. Honestly, I can see it a lot harder for us to maintain a good foreign policy with a woman in office. Many countries may be opposed to "doing business" with a female. It's sexist, yeah, but that's the world. However, Hillary is showing strongly in the polls against McCain. So, if you don't want McCain in office, then vote Hillary so she gets the nomination. The polls are showing that if it came down to Obama or McCain, McCain would win, but if it came to Hillary and McCain, Hillary would win. Bottom line for ME is the war in Iraq. I want our soilders out now. I'm not anti-military, but how much longer do we expenct to keep our men and women over there, dying for a cause which we're not even clear on anymore. I think once we get the heck outta there, our economy will eventually turn around. The war is costing us SOOO much money. I personally think the governments economy needs to be in ok shape before public citizens can be ok again...And both Obama and Clinton want our troops out like, yesterday. Again, this is just my opinion, and I don't want ANYONE to take this as fact. I think we all need to form EDUCATED opinions for ourselves. Do some research. There's plenty of sites you can go do where you can compare the delegates and their "plans" for getting the U.S. back in shape. Go to the website I listed, click on the canditates and view their policies and voting records.
- My question is very simple for you: WHY would you vote for either? If you do, you will get the same thing... You, because of your question, are suggesting that a President has all power. He has little! You have other reasons for voting for Liberals, don't you? Probably because they are for some immoral thing you want to support. Maybe there is no such thing as moral to you? We can see a little on how Liberals are by the fact that there is big problems in their own keeping of rules by themselves and in their own party! So Michigan is tossed out, etc! Get it? Who do you want as President? Bill Clinton is a Moderate compared to Hillary or Obama! Bill, then, could be called ultra-Liberal and one could get away with it by using facts! If you want more taxation without representation, vote for a Demcrat. If you want more taxes, vote for a Democrat. If you are middle-class, you pay about 50% of your wage for taxes.. How can you buy food and other things. If businesses want you to buy and you have no money, they suffer as you! If you want to restore, what was it like and when? We are taught all Liberal ideas in our schools and Communism is under the gize of many things! When did this happen? Do we need more of the same.. This has been going on for over 50 years! As time went on, we had more and more taxes... we need to give handouts to some so they will vote for the Democrats! Then more taxes to support those who voted for them! Handouts and not a hand up! Do you work or are you rich? Keep voting for more of your money to go to elect a Democrat! A middle-class American pays 50% of their wages in taxes. What is left to the retailer that wants to sell you what you desire? Bush gave you back 600 and that will help a little.. but the Dems did it because of votes, and not because of heart! If they refused, they loose votes.. Let them loose more and put America back in financial gain. You know who gained by the Gore lie about Global Warming? Al Gore has much stock in oil! Do you get it? He does not care about America, and most Liberals do not care! Their main focus is to get your money, if not other ways, with taxing you to death! After 50 years of Liberals in Congress and Senate; and as President, what did you get? A middle-class worker gets half their money stolen from them! Look at the votes in Congress and the Senate and wake up, or loose your house and home! Earl
