When poll after poll shows Hillary losing to McCain in a general election, why do her supporters persist?

..and in all of these polls she is usually around 44%.... How does she expect to win the general election? How do her supporters expect her to win the general election?

  1. Crazy does as crazy is.
  2. Because you have not lived long enough apparently to see how this country works.. It can happen and will... Hillary Clinton.. Madame President... I can hardly wait...
  3. Until they ask every single American that can vote, then dont trust the polls. Besides, 2 weeks ago she was beating McCain by like 7 points and Obama was losing by like 10. Should Obama have dropped then? Its just what people are feeling this week. They probably only ask CNN watchers anyway...
  4. Hillary has to continue to get donations to pay off the 8.5 million in debt she owes, the 292,000 health insurance bill , and the measly 8,000 that she owes the school she attended., either she quits and borrows the money from Obama to repay the debts. She is "entitled" to the Presidency by the way, ask her
  5. Hillary 2008!!
  6. Why does NObama? He is losing as well.... VOTE McCain!!!!!!!
  7. the polls show obama losing as well, isn't it great?!
  8. If she can steal the nomination she can do anything. The basic Clinton strategy is: if there is no opposition (as in you destroy the winner's "credibility" with trumped up nonsense, then you win. Unfortunately the Clintons know from personal experience how effective this strategy is. What they are not looking at, is the consequences for the Democratic Party AFTER 2008 and the consequences for liberty in America. The Clintons started the erosion of our civil liberties. They want to end them completely.
  9. Actually Gallup has them tied at 46. CBS/NYT has Hillary in front. The Dems are involved in a pretty serious battle for the nomination, McCain is having a honeymoon with no internal challenge and the press ignoring his ever growing "inaccuracies" yet he still cannot pull away. Once the Dem nomination is secured by either candidate the party (led by the loser) will unite behind that candidate who will pull away from McCain. McCain is toast. The battle for the presidency is solely between Clinton and Obama. http://www.pollingreport.com/wh08gen.htm
  10. THey won't say it in public, but they just dont believe the majority of Americans will choose a Black president, especially if he is an ultra liberal with 3 muslim names. At least with Hillary they have a shot at victory , if McCain dies. They also suspect that since the majority of voters are female, they may vote for Hillary just because she is female, even though they won't say they will when asked by the pollsters. it's a secret ballot.
  11. Silly goose. They persist because Obama hasn't got a snowball's chance in hell of winning the general election, and if the Democrats give him the nomination, they are handing to the Republicans with both hands, an election that should have been a cake walk for the Democrats.
  12. She can't even beat a first term Senator who is against the 2nd amendment to the constitution has the most liberal voting record of all the candidates votes present on the issues that he could be questioned on. How could she hope to beat a man who has the experience that John McCain has? Then there is the issues of earmarks. http://cnnvsfox.blogspot.com/2008/02/clinton-vs-obama-vs-mccain-earmarks.html Then there's their donor list they sold. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1928151/posts Well I guess you need more be sure to watch both parts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0-HkVcMOSw&feature=related
  13. she says she is not a quitter.........
  14. a) 2-4% is not statistically significant b) Obama has been behind McCain in some polls c) polls now, don't indicate November The risk of Hillary losing or losing badly is not as high as with Obama once a general election is held.
  15. I personally support Obama, but I seem to remember McCain polling around 3% behind sure-fire Rudy last summer. If nominated, my guess is she would beat McCain like a drum. But that is a hypothetical situation, because Obama is going to beat McCain like a drum.
  16. One answer only THE PRIZE !!!
  17. Obama or Clinton will kick McCain the senile warmongers butt in a general election. The US doesn't want another 4 years od Bushenomics.
  18. that's because a large chunk of her "supporters" are actually republicans attempting to stir trouble.
  19. Hold your breath and watch and see who the Super delegates choose. And that is the way the Democrat Nomination will be selected. Hillary will be the delegate pick..wait and see.
  20. Because a MAJORITY of VOTERS do NOT want to see Obama as a candidate for THE President of THE United States of AMERICA !!! We need to make sure that the person that represents AMERICA is PRO-AMERICA !!! WE NEED to make sure that EVERY man, woman, and child, KNOW how ANTI-AMERICAN Obama and his Reverend(S) ARE !!! Would a CONTINUAL 20 years of "second hand smoke" have a negative affect on the other people in the area ?? Would a CONTINUAL 20 years of "Anti-American Preachings" have a negative affect on the other people in the area ?? John F. Kennedy, a Democrat, was sworn in as the 35th President of THE United States of America, at noon on January 20, 1961. In his inaugural address he spoke of the NEED for ALL Americans to be ACTIVE CITIZENS, famously saying, "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." Please NOTICE that it said DEMOCRAT - NOT Socialist and / or Communist Democrat !! It means this country is only as strong as the people in it. It means get off your a$$ and do something!!! . The Democratic Elite make the rules and then they change them for their convenience !! The Elite Democrats feel like THEY know better than YOU who would be the best person to run the country !!! By the People and For the People !!! .
