Is Hillary desperate to win the nomination even if it means losing the General Election?

If she gets to the General Election she is able to use the money soley set aside for the General Election to pay off her debt. If she doesnt win the nomination she has to send it back to the donors. So just by getting through the primary, she can pay off her campaigns debt. If she doesnt get the nomination, those loans will go unpaid- including her own 5 million. Is that why she doesnt seem to care about weakening the party? She's just trying to get her money back?

  1. She knows she can't win the election and she knows she can't win the nomination. She is in the running to spoil Obama's chances so that in four years she can try to run again.
  2. I think that Obama is weakening the party by staying in a race that he can't win. His next book will be entitled, The Audacity To Lose!
  3. Hillary believes she is the only person in the world hat is important, that is why she is doing this. I imagine that she has enough dirty money somewhere to cover her loses, but not enough to heal the hurt to her ego.
  4. Its a shame in this forum. Too many participants with a constipated mind. Lets say the democrats go all the way, Then these Conservative zealots here will be jumping ship in record Numbers, just wait and see!
  5. I hope she keeps this fight going to the bitter end.. rip and tear your party apart.. Go on Hillary, rip it apart, jump on it stomp on it, and drag it around the mud some more, couldn't happen to a better group of people.
  6. No one is weaking the Democratic Party except for Obama and his race card.
  7. The Clinton's have had this planned for quite some time. I'm sure it's hard to let it go, even though it has obviously crashed and burned. I doubt if they're thinking about money, they've got plenty and can always screw someone out of some more. Most likely it's that they're trying to come up with a scheme to steal the nomination.
  8. Yes. I think Hilary has "F" it up for everyone. I think she feels entitled. I think she has it in her mind. If I don't win, neither will Obama. She is bloody him up for the Republicans. Hilary is harder on Obama than the Republicans. What's the old say with friends like her who needs enemies. I think she should have bow out gracefully on Super Tuesday and got her supporters to back Obama. Now there has been too much mudsling and people's feelings are hurt. I think the party is split. OBAMA '08.
