When Labour Lose The Next Election How Long Will They Remain Out Of Power?

Could it be evene longer than the Thatcher era? I hope so. It will screw this Labour lot in Scotland.

  1. Depends on the next idiots who get in?
  2. Be careful what you wish for.I do not want to see the Tories back in power.
  3. Politics is like a pendulum swinging back and forth. If labour loses it will eventually win again sometime. Just like in the US where the presidency swings back and forth from Democrat to Republican and then back...
  4. Although I agree, any prime minister will be better than Gordon Brown, I dont think any other party is any better than them! I would personally rather see labour stay in but with a better leader than the Tories get in, put interest rates sky high and risk us all losing our houses like nearly happened last time!
  5. Yes and will everything be perfect overnight when/if the Tories win the next election? Answer=NO!
  6. At least 2 elections (so probably a decade). I really hope though that their demise of power leads to other parties having a bigger impact - both Labour and the Tories are tired, out of touch and reviled by much of the country. Its time for a complete sea change in British politics.
  7. I dont think the next lot that come to power will be any better, the only man who was any good in parliment was hung draw and quartered. ( Guy Fawkes ), polititions are totally out of touch with the populus, they just build their little ivory towers taller so that their rose tinted glass only see their opulent well fed well paid ( with a fat pension ) lives
  8. I think they might as well just shut up shop and disband.... new labour is just a disgrace, the only thing they were any good at is incompetence...
  9. it will be at least a generation before they have a new set of mugs to fool
  10. Until the next lot make a complete harsh of everything. We need someone new to take control of the country again, but they should never be allowed to do more than 2 terms.
  11. They wont lose the next election because there are 3.4 million voters claiming benefit. They see Labour as their golden egg and will vote for them. If the Conservatives get in, they would have to get a job. They will vote Labour to keep their shameless lifestyles.
  12. Not directed at the TC: Moan, whine, complain, typical. If we're not happy with any of the options, why don't we physically kick 'em out, and make our own? It would take some effort, and it would mean many of you would have to give up a few weekends of binge drinking and making tits of yourselves so we can plan it... So I guess you'll stick to the whinging. Good luck with that method. In answer to the question: It matters not one jot who in the current selection takes power and for how long, they'll happily screw you and your family in order to serve their own interests.
  13. Kinnock ,Welsh. Blair and Brown Scottish. Feckt it up. Why not try an English leader of labour next time.
  14. How long will it take the next party to fcuk everything up? ADEN: Blair may have been BORN in Scotland - but to all intents and purposes he was English. Did you ever hear him mention his background? And please check the following link. I think you will find that an extremely HIGH percentage of previous PM's were English. http://www.number-10.gov.uk/output/Page123.asp
