5. Good! He is the best candidate hands down. Unfortunately though he is only in the race to make the Obama / Clinton / McCain campaign a little more interesting. Point is: Ron Paul will never become President,on this election, regardless of your vote. He is just going to throw off the ballots a little bit and gain more money for his party.

7. President Bill Clinton set a good precedent when he chose Republican Bill Cohen to be Secretary of Defense. It demonstrated that he wanted his administration to be politically inclusive. I think the next Democratic president would do well to choose Ron Paul as Secretary of the Treasury.

Well, I'm not one to believe or put any wasted faith in any politician... but if you listen, he's not throwing out the same old rhetoric as everyone else, which is a nice change... whether or not it's true, I suppose we'd never know, but him and Mike Gravel are the only two I'd ever even consider voting for... but we all know the chances of them getting into office are rather... slim at best.

The following days when he made a statement, clearly stating he did NOT drop out of the race, the media blackout promptly turned off all coverage of Paul.

Ron Paul is the only candidate in this race of either party who has an unsullied record of public service where he has put the interests of the United States and her citizens first. All the other candidates are tied to special interests and lobbyists. Ron Paul is the only one with a firm grounding in economics, fiscal and monetary policy.
