Question about new NBC Election Poll?

In a new election poll from NBC, they showed the following results: (quote condensed) "In the head-to-head matchups...Obama and Clinton dead even at 45 percent in the national Democratic primary matchup. In the general-election matchups, Obama led McCain by 2 points, and McCain led Clinton by 2 points.. Hillary Clinton is sporting the lowest personal ratings of the campaign. Her 37 percent positive rating is the lowest the NBC poll has recorded since 3/2001, two months after she was elected to the U.S. Senate from New York. More than 20 percent of Clinton and Obama supporters say they would support McCain against the other Democrat. Among Obama voters, Clinton has a net-negative personal rating (35-43) while Clinton voters have a net-positive view of Obama (50-29). This appears to be evidence that Obama should have the easier time uniting the party than Clinton. Let me rephrase the question- why would Hillary's approval ratings be at a 7 year record low when for the last two weeks Obama has been scrutinized every hour on the news?

6. because smart americans have had time to digest everything that has happened over the past week. we know that hillary was behind the smear tactic hit job on obama. we know that rev. wright's words are his and not obama's. we know that hillary is doing everything in her power to try and discredit obama's candidacy. we know that hillary is a liar. we know that hillary is simply in the race now to hurt the democrat party and to try and hurt obama's chances of winning in november. we know that hillary will say and do anything to win the nomination at any cost.

Democrats can never make a decision, this always happens, they change their opinion on a candidate weekly, next week when more of the Rezko case comes out Obama will be unpopular again, then the media will make an excuse for him and his popularity will soar, and then Hillary will have something negative about her, and she will soar.... You could argue its because Democrats are more informed and hear all the stuff on their candidates, or you could say they are like Dallas cowboy fans, they don't exist unless their candidate is winning.
8. The net negative personal rating fall in line with how people think the attacks against Obama were very Machiavellian. I don't mind Hillary winning, but I do think the manner says a lot about the integrity of a candidate.
9. I think "Vince Foster" is right.... people don't like her. Also, this whole Sniper story she concocted brings back memories of the Clinton years, and all the lies and half truths they chalked up on a regular basis. The Clintons are toxic.
10. The NBC Poll (also known as the Never Been Correct Poll) clearly shows that many are getting turned off by all the "infighting" going on in the Democratic Party..Both Hillary and Barrack are so much time attacking each other when they should be trying to compare their positions against McCain..

12. Definitely do not rely on just one poll. Remember, NBC is ultra-liberal and their polls are slanted, as are their anchors reporting on the polls (Dan Rather, Ted Koppel, Mike Wallace, Wolf Blitzer, etc.). The polls are changing daily now because of the new tapes and Trumpet magazine article of Rev. Jeremiah Wright and the new lies (mis-spoke) of Hillary Clinton. It seems both are falling in the polls, but anything can happen in the days ahead. Follow all the polls to get a good feeling about what is happening around the country.
13. I hope you don't believe these propaganda poles. They are totally corrupt. They mean nothing. The poles said Kerry by a landslide. The anti America media is biased to the extreme. All of them. The only pole that matter is the vote by the people. And even that is becoming corrupted by the democrats.
14. The news media has courted Obama and given him free reign...they know Obama will hand the White House to McCain! Don't believe any of the news media websites...they are all different. Now we see some of the tactics of the Republicans....and while the Wright controversy was going on Obama spilled his guts on Rezko....it was a crooked relationship...Obama may be testifying if he is the nominee...hmm, I bet he gets immunity and that is why he is pushing ahead so hard for the nomination! He wants to stay out of jail. That explains why Dave Axelrod and his henchment are pounding on Clinton. Oh the American people are so naive!!
15. My perception is that people feel Obama has been demonized by innuendo, and association Hillary is perceived as someone who will take advantage of anything about Obama she can use Obama is acting more "presidential"
