John McCain????
What else does he stand for besides going to war, he never talks about health care, gas prices, jobs and other things.

- Have you ever listened?
- The only reason people vote for him are the rednecks who want a traditional "white male" as president...
- His main issue is the war in Iraq. He has not focused on the other issues as much but has talked about what he plans to do if elected. He is not for universal health care and he is for NAFTA.
- Not raising taxes. Stopping pork barrel spending and government earmarks. Limited government intervention into my daily life. Personal accountability for your own life.
- I do respect Sen. McCain; however, I do not and never will agree with his stance on the war. I also believe his age is a factor now.
- He is warmonger paranoic wow. We need to fix our economy before engane in dangerous crazy fantasies in Iraq, Iran and Venezuela. Maca Cain is obseced with oil at any price, to satisfy his buddies: Oli companies and military industry.... of course: tax payers money and soldiers lives are gonna paid for this.............Who is gonna profit from this?: Not the working people, not their families.
- He is a genuine war hero who will put America first.
- he stands to carry out bushes plans.
- are you retarded? the president has nothing to do with gas prices. and he has made his views on health care. and what is there to say about "jobs" ?
- Well, when you have your head up your tail, it's hard to hear the details. And God help us if he wants to Socialize health care like Hillary or Obama. What would you like him to do about gas prices? Build new refineries? Drill for our own oil in the Gulf and Alaska? That is the ONLY chance of lowering gas prices. What can the President do to create jobs? Not by taxing the sh*it out of businesses and taking away their profits.
- He stands for America. Keeping us safe. He is proud to be an American. http://www.johnmccain.com/Informing/Issues/
- Interestingly, he seems to stand for basic integrity, honesty, openness, self-responsibility, and just about every other good thing you might come up with. Fortunately, he also understands the demands of war, something that non-veterans really have a hard time grasping. When I was in the Navy, we conducted "routine" carrier battle group exercises (lots of real ships and aircraft) for a nominal two weeks of continuous 24/7 interactive combat between opposing forces. So, that meant some of us only got about an hour of sleep each night. Try that for two weeks straight. You get stomach cramps after about 10 days but still have to function. I sometimes wished that the Soviets would start a real war so that we did not have to exercise at that pace. So, again, few Americans who have not been in the military appreciate why it is important to have "real experience" when the nation is at war or doing warlike things. The intensive effort and sacrifices involved in making this a land of the free are not well understood by those who would vote for any candidate who would dare to say that we will abandon the effort in Iraq precipitously. It just does not work that way. So, even if McCain does not carry the day on election day in November, you should ask yourself why so many of us veterans are appalled by the Democratic Party's investment in failure in Iraq. It is politics, and it is also subversive, but we Americans hate to criticize to the point of actually standing for something that is in direct opposition to someone's feelings, don't we. So that is what McCain stands for. Stand on your own two feet, work hard, stop whining about living in the land of opportunity.
- He talked about economics - he said that wasn't really his strong point. Real conservatives don't believe in giving Washington DC very much power, because small governments are always much more efficient than large ones. McCain is a war veteran who won't even bother to listen to his generals. Since he wasn't smart enough to get that rank, like his father and grandfather, he'll be thrilled to boss them all around.
