Everyone is saying that the speech by Barack Hussein Obama tomorrow, will be his total undoing unless he can.

convince a LOT of American White People to change their minds about Rev Wright and himself. According to the latest AP and Rasmussen Polls, his new ratings are dropping fast and a nomination won't mean anything if he should get it with the deligate vote. Do you think he can pull it off? @Wounded Duck - When someone says "G..D... America" and they are as serious as the Rev Wright was and you are not disturbed by it, Good for you. Personally, I along with millions of others will not stand for it. Obama will not be elected and you sir, can count on that.

1. I am concerned about attacks on the United States. The tape that I heard of one of the Reverend Wright's Sermons is frightening. In that sermon The Reverend Wright says that the Muslim terrorists were justified in hijacking the planes and flying them into the World Trade Center Towers. Even though barack Obama has repudiated those remarks, the Reverend Wright is the man that Barack Obama has selected to be his spiritual advisor. At the very least the fact that Barack Obama would select a man who teaches that it is justifiable for Muslim Terrorists to kill United States Citizens tells me that Barack Obama does not have the judgment that he needs to be President of the United States of America. One of the duties of the President of the United States of America is to be the Commander in Chief and lead the defense of the United States and the Citizens of the United States. How can Barack Obama lead the Defense against the Muslim Terrorists and the other enemies of the United States and the Citizens of the United States of America if he would select a man who teaches that the Citizens of the United States deserve to be killed? Essentially Barack Obama is unfit to serve as the President of the United States of America.
2. he is an eloquent speaker and he has alot of charisma so I think he will pull it off. As I have said before he will win the nomination but not the general election so the country is screwed for at least 4 more years.
3. I do think he has good speech writers and that is what may save him.. if he had to do it off the cuff he would be dead in the water so to speak... People like to be wooed... he may be able to do it.. I hope the brain kicks in over the heart tomorrow for obama lovers....
4. "Everyone" isn't saying everything. "Everyone" never does. And a majority of Dems still support Obama, according to the latest CNN poll.
5. obama will be speaking to his supporters, not his haters. the speech won't be for his non-supporters. if you've been reading the comments out here, you should know that he could never reach some of the folks out here. so his speech will be for his supporters, no one else.
6. No, nothing he can say will ever erase the video images of the hateful reverend Wright from peoples minds. Obama supported the man for 20 years and only now disassociates himself because it's politically expedient. How stupid does he think people are?

10. Well, I'm very concerned about his affiliation with that church. I can't believe he doesn't know exactly what that pastor thinks and feels about America. I'm also concerned that his wife made a comment that as an adult she has never been proud to be an American until now.

I don't think anyone can change my opinion about Wright, but I will give Obama a chance to explain why he stayed in a relationship with this man for 20yrs, was his personal mentor, his advisor, married he & his wife, baptized his children & he never knew what a racist or hate filled person Wright was? That is what he needs to explain to me. I personally don't think you can explain it away, admiting to it would be the death of his political career as well as ignoring it will, we will see. Think he is kinda stuck here & should left the church before his bid & then no one woulda been able to touch him on this point.

14. Well....he has done nothing wrong according to his accounts of the story.........so he will not ask for forgiveness........ I think a majority of intelligent grown ups will not buy his song and dance.........I could be wrong.........but I bet this is not going away after tomorrow.
