Is Mitt Romney A Front Runner Because He Has An Appearence Like A President?

Mitt Romney looks like a slick, charming kind of guy. Looks like a guy that will try and sell you a piece of shit Honda. What I don't understand is why he is in the Top 2? It seems like most people don't like this guy at all. Calling him a flip-flopper and such. I don't think McCain is that better either. But anyway. When I look at Romney I honestly just see people liking him, and wanting to vote for him because he's the guy that looks the most like a president. Can you really see someone like Mike Huckabee giving a State Of The Union speech? lol I really would have liked to see Duncan Hunter or Sam Brownback still be in this.

  1. Yes. Put Romney's picture next to the other candidate's pic. what do you see? A white man & a woman, or a Brother, Senior citizen,or Gomer Pyle
  2. I guess that must be why. I can't figure it out myself. I just don't really see the Romney appeal.
  3. Were down to the final end>1 left that can beat the amnesty 3 your choice>Mitt or amnesty> You want 20 + million illegals and more to come with the smell of amnesty> Vote for the traders>Then live with them>
  4. I am a Massachusetts resident and I've been supporting Mitt Romney since 1994 when he ran against Ted Kennedy in the Senate. Mitt has a great record in both the private and public sector. Before Romney became governor we were losing jobs faster than any state over 140,000 and we had a $3 BILLION deficit. After Romney took office he balanced the budget every year. He cut spending and waste and streamlined the government. He vetoed 800 pieces of pork legislation that the Democrats tried to introduce. Romney passed legislation that allows the top 25% of students go to public colleges and universities tuition free. When Romney left office, we had a $700+ MILLION surplus. Romney DID NOT raise taxes. Our tax rate is 5.3%. Romney did raise fees but those fees hadn't been reviewed in more than 20 years. He indexed them into inflation. He cut corporate loopholes. That's part of streamlining and making a transparent system. In Massachusetts we've had a slow but steady INCREASE in population. Some people did leave the State, but we had more people come into the State. While Romney was governor he ADDED 60,000 jobs and his programs are still in progress. Bristol-Myers is building a $1.1 BILLION facility in Devens that will add another 550 jobs. Mitt accomplished all of this in 4 yrs. That is amazing. Romney did not accept any pay for the 4 yrs he served as Governor nor did his Lt. Governor, Kerry Healey. I'm a conservative republican. I am not a religious zealot. I am a single parent. I work full time and go to school a little more than part time. I am also putting my son through his first year of college. I believe in hard work and doing what's right. Mitt Romney is the candidate that most closely matches my values. I would suggest, if you would like to learn more about him. Watch the debates again and visit his website. I assure you Romney is not a used car salesman.
