This Why Barack Obama is Consider to be the First Black President. (if it happens)?

Well yes we know Sen. Obama is half black, and he is half white. But if you look at the facts, Sen Obama has the skin, hair, and eyes, of a black person. If Sen. Obama were to be pulled over by the police, or a "wanted for" bullentin were to go out with his picture on it. The police, and everyone who sees that picture would say that's a "Black Man". We're looking at the the outside of Sen Obama, and it has always been that way. Sen. Obama two hundred years ago, would not be consider half white. He'd be a house.................., because of his yellowish skin. In the end two hundred years ago, if he got out of line, he'd be treated like a black man, and not like a white man. So the question isn't how come no one is talking about him being half white? It's is how come, he can never been treated like a white man. That's a black man on the bullentin, and that's a black man being pulled over, and it will always be this way. Trust me. Being a black man in America, white people are not the only ones trying to clip up black folk. The worst thing is, when it's another black man doing it to. Who has first hand knowledge of what you going through.

3. He prefers to be called "black"..Why would one support a person they know nothing about? Some of his supporters sure need to do some research.If you read his book..In "Dreams," Obama wrote that he found solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against his mother’s race. During college, Obama disapproved of what he called other "half-breeds" who gravitated toward whites instead of blacks. Obviously he doesn't want to identify with whites at all.
4. If he gets the nomination McCain will bury him with this racist preacher scandal. There is no way he can win. When you go to a church that hates white people how do you expect to get the white vote.
5. i dont think it's so much that no one is considering the fact that he is half white, but it's just the fact that he would be the first president to be elected that isn't fully white. what you say is true, he would have very well been treated differently 200 years ago. but there's a reason that would have been the case 200 years ago. and theres a reason things arent as they used to be. now a days, most (not all) people dont treat others differently because of the color of their skin. of corse this isnt the entire country but a good amount of it.
6. because he is a black man...if he's father was a white man then he would be considered a white man...the race line comes from the father..I know cause my mom is white also but my dad is a black man so I'm a black woman with a white mother.. its hard to explain unless your mixed..could u imagine him calling hes self a white man..the black folks would call him a sell out and the whites would laugh him out of town..so u have to pick one or the other.
7. skin color and complexion should not matter when it comes to ideology and policy. I think its sad that people keep highlighting this fact about him. I admire Obama for saying that he does not want to be looked at as a black man running for president but just a regular man running for president. I wish people would stop looking at things this way and just vote for the person that has the ideas that are best for america.
