Democrats are prepared to unite around Obama or Clinton. Do you agree?
Either one will strongly defeat John McCain in the general election. The Republicans caused the War. The Democrats are ready to clean up this huge mistake and bring our troops home where they belong. We cannnot afford to pay trillions of dollars on this endless war and plunge our economy into a state of no return. Our sons and daughters well into the next generation will be given the invoice to pay for this war for years to come.

- NO, Clinton and Obama will NOT improve the situation as they will have you to believe.
- Little bit ahead of yourself in predicting the general election when all major polls agree that McCain would beat Hillary Clinton and McCain won a couple recent polls against Obama.
- Actually the party being split the way it is, is severley hurting it's shot at the white house. Two weeks ago I said "Who ever wins the democratic primary is our next president." Now I can't say that for sure. This split is hurting the party. Allot. There is now a chance that McCain could win, not a high one, but the way things are going it will increase.
- Nope.
- no Billary has shown hreslf to be as infantile as bush with her low blows and poor me routine
- It's time that the two of them start negotiating who will be the leader and who will be the VP. This has gone on long enough and at this point neither of them are going to have enough delegates to flat out win the nomination because of the split and if they take this to the Super Delegates they may end up with some disenfranchised voters on the candidate who ends up losing. Both of them keep saying they know what's best for America, well it's time to the Democratic thing and negotiate and run together.
- If Clinton wins I a voting for McCain, but that won't matter. If she had her own campaign in the last few weeks she would be out now. Instead she chose to go negative and in the process drag this thing out, pretty much handing the presidency to McCain. Hey McCain, send a thank you card to the Clintons. Great 4 more years of misery because of the Clintons greed for power.
- I completely agree with you. Yes the Republicans did cause the war, and yes the democrats are ready to clean up. So I hope at least half of Americans can see this, and vote for Hilary. After the 2000 election people got pis$ed about Bush, and what do they do, they put him back in again. Makes me so mad......
- No. Obama and Michelle had hinted that it is difficult for them to support Clinton. This is the lesson for the Democratic Party that a candidate of dubious background and has only good reading ability of speeches will never do any good for the party. Michelle hates America. Obama belongs to an Afrocentric church who honored an anti-America Muslim Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam. Yes, he was pressured to denounce his endorsement but he did nothing towards his church's action and stance.
- I think non-bubba Dems will unite around Obama. Hillary gets what Hillary gets and Obama supporters are hugely independents and moderate Republicans, so I don't think there would be this huge rally around Hillary like there would be around Obama. Second... all you guys are wrong in saying that the Rupublicans caused the war. I don't recall anyone running on a platform to go to war. I think the war was brought to us by Saudi terrorists who attacked our country. The vast majority of democrats in the Senate (29 - 21) voted FOR the war resolution. We all want to see the troops come home, whether Republican, Democrat or Independent, but most clear-headed persons want it done systematically and with honor, so that when we do vacate the country we are leaving it with some sense of direction and self-governing and self-policing capability. You might read your history books to learn a little ablout how long we've had troops stationed in Europe since the end of WW2, or in Korea since the end of that war. The reason we maintain a presence is to act as a stabilizing force. Had we not done that, the USSR would have crushed West Germany. Had we not stayed in Korea, the communist north would have taken over. Just an FYI
- You really think if Clinton won now, young people and blacks wouldn't be fuming that Obama got robbed? Maybe if she made him VP she might be able to recover some, but his continued presence in the campaign might also serve as a daily dose of salt rubbed in the wound.
