Is the Hagee endorsment for John McCain awesome?

Reverend John Hagee has officially endorsed John McCain for President and John McCain has proudly accepted this honor. This is the proof we need that John McCain is the very conservative-Christian to fill George Bush' shoes! I hope this dispels the Liberal inuendo that McCains is a moderate. I pray McCain anoints Hagee to oversee the Faith Based initiative programs. http://www.allheadlinenews.com/arti... Restoring a Christ-centered America one endorsement at a time! John McCain in 2008 and again in 2012! Who agrees with me that this is just awesome news? It is the power of God working through poltics! The Liberals are fuming over this endorsment: http://www.pfaw.org/pfaw/general/default.aspx?oid=25053

  1. Interesting take. McCain is a moderate republican. There is no shame in that. He also sides with the conservatives on many issues. I am a liberal Christian and I like Hagee. I think he gets a bad rap from a lot of evangelicals, but I think that a lot of his teaching is inspired. But his endorsement doesn't make me angry or sad because I don't vote based on endorsements. I vote based on the record of the candidates. I am most certainly not fuming over any endorsement of McCain. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. I believe that the parties are very split when it comes to Christian values. One one side we see an emphasis on heterosexuality and pro-life issues. On the other we see the emphasis of providing for the poor and not being a "respecter of persons" - equality of treatment. One party doesn't have the corner on what is christian. To say that and worse yet, for christians to divide over that, is pure idolatry because it is placing politics above Christ. When it comes right down to it - the real split is those who love Christ and those who don't. And you'd better believe that there are *some* from either party would throw Christians "under the bus" if they believed that it would help them to win.
  2. Yes,yes,yes,i'm with you.
  3. I like Hagee, esp. his support for Israel, but I won't be taking his advice. I am not going to vote for president in 2008, hopefully we'll at least have one decent candidate in 2012. If McCain's voting record was as conservative as you say he is (i.e. if he supported tax cuts, didn't side with the left on campaign "reform" and immigration, wasn't one of the gang of 14) he wouldn't have the trouble he's having with conservative voters.
  4. Man, another person fooled by a Hagee. I hope God let's you take your money with you to heaven.
