Barack Obama?

Does Barack Obama believe in abortion? I thought that he was neutral... I dont believe in it... I just wanted to know if he believes in abortion, is against it, or is neutral in the whole idea.

6. he's pro-choice, not pro-abortion. he's one of those people that says that he wouldn't want his wife to get one but he supports a person's decision to choose. so in other words......he doesn't like it himself, but he believes in a person's freedom to do what they would like with their body.

In the July 17 speech, Obama attacked the Supreme Court decision that upheld the federal partial-birth abortion ban and the nomination of Supreme Court justices who favor overturning Roe v. Wade. In the speech the senator said, "There will always be people, many of goodwill, who do not share my view on the issue of choice. On this fundamental issue, I will not yield and Planned Parenthood will not yield."
