  1. Hey, what about Elizabeth Dole? She would be great!
  2. I like the idea of Bill Richardon on the dem ticket, i hadnt thought of that. Powell would be awesome but it isnt going to happen. Dole would be a good idea, Kay Bailey Hutchison is a smart choice that you left out.
  3. Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic Presidential nominee. She will win Texas and Ohio. These states are her strongholds. My choice for Vice President for her is Al Gore or John Edwards. Bring back Obama to Africa. Let him plant corn and breed chickens like his granny.
  4. john edwars.... and i don't really want to even imagine picking a R.... Kay Bailey Hutchinson is a good thought.... what about ron paul?
  5. for Obama, my choice is Bill Richardson. For McCain, Colin Powell.
  6. I really think that Evan Bayh would make a very good Vice-Presidential candidate. Evan is very popular in Indiana and the Midwest and could really reach out with is moderate liberal image. He has experience and history. He has been the Governor of Indiana, the Junior Senator for many years, and his father Birch was a very famous and well-liked politician from Indiana. I could see Newt Gingrich as the VP candidate with McCain. Recently, John McCain has been criticized for not being conservative enough (with campaign finance reform, immigration). Newt was instrumental for the Republican Revolution when they won back control of Congress and he was Speaker of the House. He gained the admiration of many Conservatives for standing up and opposing Bill Clinton.
  7. Hey, an intelligent and thoughtful question. What the hell is it doing here? :-D Anyway, to answer your question. Both of them will likely pick Southern candidates for V.P. in order to get the South vote, which is a weakness for the both of them. For Obama, it's easy. John Edwards is considered fairly well respected and can work to pick up the voters Obama can't: lower-income, older, and stubbornly white. For McCain, it's not as simple. Elizabeth Dole was a good suggestion, but that's someone who's been out of the spotlight a bit too long. Colin Powell and Condi Rice are probably too tired of the political BS to take a job that's NOTHING BUT political BS. Fred Thompson is too linked to the "old boy" network and wouldn't get enough of the younger conservative vote to tip the scales. I would probably go with Mike Huckabee for my guess on McCain's VP.
