  1. Its better then paying 1 trillion dollars on this war. Oh and if we stopped this war we can pay for that 10 times over and still put more money into your pocket sir.
  2. Charity begins at home what about the poverty here in this country first.
  3. Part of our standing in the world has always been our ability to help those in need in other countries. I would rather have my taxes go towards this than a war that accomplishes nothing. we are spending a trillion helping the people of Iraq
  4. There is a world wide effort to bring the USA down a notch and it is very convenient to some bigger nations who would love to take over as number one.
  5. He also wants our military to be held accountable to the U.N. This guy is going to destroy the U.S. with his anti-America policies. But he is a good speaker, that's all that matters in today's popularity contest called an election. PLEASE VOTE WITH YOUR HEAD, NOT YOUR EMOTIONS
  6. The United Nations has never been favorable toward the US. So let's give them our money, then let them dole it out as they see fit. I can help 50% of Africa's problems with two words. STOP PROCREATING!
  7. Unbelievable! Thanks for the info. It nice for America to help other countries, but is that idiot oblivious to the current economic needs of people right here in this country? There are millions of Americans living in poverty and squaller right here in the USA. and he wants us to spend our hard earned tax dollars on other nations peoples? Let take care of own first you idiot!
  8. If America is the leader of the free world, then we should lead by example and put our money where out mouth is. How can you equate trying to end world poverty for 210 billion when you have an Iraq war, that the citizens of the us and Iraq didnt ask for, continues to the tune of 1 trillion or more. or 354 million dollars a day!
  9. gas at $5-6 bucks may change the economics of giveaway taxpayer money
  10. Any thing you can attack you go for it right? Iraq is costing us 10 times that amount, what say you about that?
  11. I'll vote for it. ---As long as we don't start giving until the national debt is eliminated totally. We get the national debt eliminated and we can afford .7%. OBTW Just incase you missed it. The US under LBJ and the Democratic Controlled Congress declared War on Poverty in the '60's. We've spent over 6 trillion dollars (not inflation adjusted) and we haven't even wiped out poverty in the US.
  12. Absolutley not ! a Global poverty tax is another illegal attempt to globalize and disolve our constitutional rights, more taxation without representation, but this is where all the candidates are taking us in the future. there are no worthy candidates.
  13. What is wrong with these people (Obama, Biden and crew)? I can't wait for McCain to get a hold of this when the real battle begins. Then the American people will see how they are being sold down the river from here to eternity. This has got to stop.
  14. Poverty breeds terrorists, and the unnecessary and ineffective Iraq war is estimated to total between 1.6 and 2.4 TRILLION dollars over the same amount of time. Which is a better investment? How much will the total be for McCain's 100 years in Iraq plus the costs of fighting terrorists who are motivated in part by desperate poverty? Sections 4-7 of many on the bill, which you can view on the Library of Congress website: http://www.thomas.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?c110:3:./temp/~c110pv7ifV:: (4) On March 22, 2002, President George W. Bush stated: `We fight against poverty because hope is an answer to terror. We fight against poverty because opportunity is a fundamental right to human dignity. We fight against poverty because faith requires it and conscience demands it. We fight against poverty with a growing conviction that major progress is within our reach.'. Including all of the world's poor in an expanding circle of development and opportunity is a moral imperative and one of the top priorities of United States international policy.'. (6) The 2006 National Security Strategy of the United States notes: `America's national interests and moral values drive us in the same direction: to assist the world's poor citizens and least developed nations and help integrate them into the global economy.'. (7) The bipartisan Final Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States recommends: `A comprehensive United States strategy to counter terrorism should include economic policies that encourage development, more open societies, and opportunities for people to improve the lives of their families and enhance prospects for their children.'.
  15. First, you're going wrong voting Democrat! They try "to save the world" to hard to the point where they're so vulnerable to anything. Im trying to be nice, but this is just proof of how dumb you are if you back this up or not really an american, so in that case dont vote. How about actually proposing some kind of economical plan since that is most significant right now. Stop worrying about trees that need to be hugged, and all the Jane Fondas in the world trying to sabotage our veterans, and worry about our economy. I know VH1 and youtube brainwashes dems all the time by portraying Republicans like monsters but its the most logical issue right now. You can still be Dem, justdont let the US turn into the new France!
