Will Ralph Nader be the next Ron Paul?

It looks like we are set to have a new candidate with no chance of winning the Presidency, but wants to give it a go anyway. Will there be another parade of brainwashed lemmings following this guy, spamming e-mail accounts, internet polls, and message boards like this one, and engaging in bigoted and self-righteous attacks against the free-willed individuals who refuse to fall into the cult mentality? Will we start to see blimps, coins, and youTube videos exalting his name? I am curious if this is going to happen again or if Paul was just a fluke that (thankfully) has passed us by. EasyRead, please pay attention. Paul isn't a new candidate either under your definition, he ran for president in the 80s. By "new" I mean he just announced his candidacy for the presidency TODAY. I am aware of the prior two times he tried and failed and I am sure everyone else here is too.

  1. Nah, the Nader fans are too old now. None of the relevant people in the world know who he is or respect him, so he'll just be insignificant. Turst me.
  2. He doesn't have nearly the stature of Ron Paul, however he may be the strongest third party candidate and I will vote for him if that is the case. I will never vote for the Democrat or Republican nominee (unless Ron Paul ever got the nomination).
  3. Have you been in a cave or something? Ralph Nader is not a "new" candidate. This won't be his first time running for president.
  4. They're what I call bone spurs - - very irritating and don't belong anywhere.
  5. I think Nadar will actually hurt McCain this time around. Because they're sort of the same.
  6. No, Ralph Nader is for bigger government, while RP is for smaller. Huge differences, and if he gets the same following as Ron Paul, so what? Let the race be enthusiastic, and of course, fun for the new people interested. Yet, Ralph Nader dislikes the gold standard, while Ron Paul advocates it. I'll stick with Ron Paul for this one.
  7. Well, I suppose we didn't copyright the blimp, but it was cool because it was novel, whereas it would be borrowed, if he did it. I have no idea what Nader is going to do; I suppose we will find out. However, I got the impression from a press release that he thought the 'disaffected' Ron Paul supporters would just flock to whatever 'leader for disaffected people' happened to show up, and in my opinion he is nuts if he thinks that is the case. We aren't following just anyone, Ron Paul is extraordinary. And the rEVOLution continues, so we are 'taken' in any event.
  8. No he'll end up as Obamas Vice President
