Ron Paul Supporters, are you mad at him yet?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/cq/20080227/pl_cq_politics/politics2677795_2 Okay, Ron Paul supporters are very proud of the fact they raised a whole bunch of money for Ron. Which, is fine. It is something to be proud of. And all I ever saw of the man's campaign was hand made signs by his supporters, I heard one radio commercial, and saw a blimp. He participated in the debates, but other than that what did he do to try to win the Presidency? Other than rely on his supporters and the internet? Now, he's not even running anymore. He's trying to save his House Seat, and he's "renting" out his donor's list. He's basically sold your info like a solicitor? Now everyone Paul "supports" will be asking for a handout. Look, I respect the tenacity and effort many of Ron's supporters had, and some still do. But, if I were in your shoes. I'd be ticked! He didn't do anything, he didn't really try to win, and now he's profiting off his supporters. Does anyone feel this way? Martin, if you're going to insult me. At least don't be so dumb about it. Blame public schools for the lack of my illiteracy? Shouldn't you thank them for that? Geez, some of you Paulites make it too easy. Thanks Scarlet, fair answer. I don't donate to candidates, so I didn't know. Thanks. Thank you Juldice. Yeah Mahal. He has the Ron Paul Revolution blimp that was rented to him at a discount price. Martin, I didn't rant on any supporters. I actually gave Ron's supporters a great deal of praise and showed a great deal of respect towards them. I simply asked if they were made because of the situation of events unfolding. Perhaps you should hold back on the knee jerk insults whenever someone questions you about your candidate, especially when they aren't being mean. Is my post supportive of Paul? No? But it's far from negative also.
Public Comments
- Who said he quit his campaign race?? He is stil in. "Though Paul is winding down his presidential bid as he focuses on winning re-election A-A--- he also has rented his donor list to his own congressional campaign -- he wants to have an impact on the direction of his party." He is first concentrating on his seat, but is still on the race. Next time, read the whole page, yet, I must blame the public education for your lack of illiteracy. Bye. Excuse me, just read this. If he hasn't done anything, then why has he been voting against high taxes, against unbalanced budgets, and against the wars in Congress for the past 30 years? Was he voting for the fun of it? No. He has been in Congress to vote off anything that undermines the Constitution. What has Hillary, Obama, and McCain done? Absolutely nothing, but only talk, talk, and look, there is a whole herd of sheep behind them. I don't vote on who is popular, I vote on who has stood his ground for a long time, and a record to back it up. And I'm not ticked, I'm happy to support him, because I used to support Obama, and again, supporting Obama is like listening a radio. Only words, no action. Btw, he didn't even give $1 to rent a blimp. The grassroots did. On my behalf, excuse my insult, but don't rant on any supporters no matter who their candidates are.
- At least Mr Paul got a "real" message to the American people and the ones who were smart enough to hear his "true" message were listening. I think he got a lot of people thinking about the true nature of "their" government and the changes we need to make to again make the USA the nation our forefathers intended it to be. We were listening and the revolution is coming maybe not this year or next but its a coming.
- I am not a Paul supporter but I have supported other candidates and they all share supporter lists. It is a common courtesy between politicians of the same party.
- Nope, not mad at all. Paul's still in and I willingly support the candidates he's endorsed, after all we're all aiming for the same goals. : )
- Didn't he rent a blimp to fly over Connecticut?
- Who the hell is Ron Paul?
