Ron Paul for President?

I think Ron Paul is a great choice for President of the USA. Who thinks he should be our next president and if not, why?

Public Comments

  1. not me. he's an angry man who shouldn't represent this country here at home or abroad.
  2. you are just about the only one left. hope you can vote 50 million times. he is going to need it.
  3. NOT ME ,NOW IF HE HAD A LAST NAME....MAYBE
  4. Why because he doesn't generate enough votes to qualify.
  5. Yes I am for many of his proposals. Such as the Senior Tax elimination Act The Teacher Tax Cut Act The Family Education Freedom Act The SOcial Security For Americans Only Act The Tax Free Tip Act. The Bill to repeal the federal gasoline Tax The Bill to stop the government from raiding Social Security. I like that he has never voted to raise taxes or congressional pay in his 20 years as a congressman and he has never voted for an unbalanced budget. This man is the definition of Fiscal Conservative.
  6. i can think of lots why he shouldn't but none for why he should, whats your angle?
  7. Ron Paul is all about the message! Sadly, Media will not and does not want that message to get out, so Ron Paul looses, but not as much as the american people loose!
  8. you may be able to vote Ralph Nader...
  9. He says he never voted for higher taxes. However, when he wrote bills, he would write them to include higher taxes and other unconservative issues and then, knowing they would be passed anyway without his vote, would vote against his own bills. He's a scoundrel. But, I think our field is full of them especially this election cycle. Good luck, man. That's what I've read in various pamphlets and internet connections. It seems propable with his record on voting.
  10. ron Paul? are u serious!!!! he is not even competely sane and neither are his supporters!!!! ron Paul is a radical idiot and maybe he is a nice guy but he is too unpopular and will NEVER be capable of running america. I'd leave if he was elected lol
  11. Look, i'm not going to vote for him because I disagree with him on a couple issues (agree on a lot of others) and because he can't win. Why can't he win? The pinheads here have answered that question for us. The American people are too dumb to listen to anything longer than a 30 second sound bite, follow a legitimate, cognitive argument and then process that information. In short, they can't understand him!
  12. I don't think so, because when I went on his website to read his positions, I thought the site was a joke site made to poke fun at him. Then when I realized that it was his actual site, and those were his actual stances- I was curled up in a corner for hours, afraid to come out.
  13. I think he should. And I will do anything possible to help get him elected. Ron Paul voted against the Iraq War and continues to introduce legislation that would allow our troops to be withdrawn. He has never voted to raise taxes. He will do everything in his power to stop illegal immigration. He will abolish the Federal Reserve. He has never voted to increase government. He voted against the Patriot Act, and will actually get rid of it, not just revise it, as most candidates plan to do. Ron Paul has a consistent, 30-year voting record that can be used to support any stance he has every taken. He also has a number of bills he has proposed, which show how he has already taken action to work for his causes. None of the other candidates have such a record or such experience.
  14. I agree with you. Unlike the other candidates, Ron Paul as Commander & Chief of the military, can make some immediate changes by starting a troop withdrawal, which will go towards saving Americans about 2 billion per day,,,,which in turn can lower & eventually eliminate personal taxation, when money being saved exceeds money being spent. He also can circumvent the Federal Reserve banking systems fiat paper dollar scheme by re-instating Constitutionally mandated Gold & Silver money to be used in a competitive manner with FRN's......He already has introduced Congressional bills to this affect.......What he must do as President is urge the American people to put pressure on their elected federal officials to pass his very sound pending legislation. I think he is doing a tremendous job of wake-ing up many stuck in the mud American voters to believe there is a way to Save the Original American Ideals, set forth in the Constitution. Thank you for the question. ********************************************************
  15. I love his ideas about strict Constitutionalism and about our dire need to put our financial house in order, including returning to the gold standard. Unfortunately, I think his presentation is a little shakey. Obama is my first choice; if he doesn't win, then I'd be happy with Paul.
  16. Nope, he's totally unelectable. Even if he was, there's no way in hell he'd be able to keep any of his promises. Taxes are here to stay. The Fed is here to stay. The troops won't be back from Iraq until they've accomplished...whatever if it they were supposed to accomplish. Sorry. That's just the way it is. His ideas make him sound like a kook, and it's a poor reflection on his supporters, who might be kooks too, no matter how well intentioned they are. Kooks don't get mainstream media support- he's probably only in the debates out of a sense of fair play, not because CNN and the rest take him seriously. He'll be the next one to drop out, probably...a viable candidate needs more than the anti-war/tinfoil hat wearing crowd to make it. One of Ron Paul's biggest supporters is Alex Jones, king of the tinfoil hat brigade. That says it all right there. Paul has no credibility, he's wasting his time, as are his supporters, who have pissed away millions of their hard earned dollars in a massive exercise in futility.
  17. Are you keeping up? Ron Paul is over........ Better start looking for alternatives.
