When John McCain is elected President will continue to be promote Christianity like Bush?

He is just as devout of a Christian as Commander in Chief, George W. Bush, and just as brilliant of a leader. John McCain is also equally as Conservative on social issues. He is in fact, just like George Bush but slightly older and perhaps more wise with experience. Will we see a continuation of Faith-Based initiatives and special rights for Christians as promised in our Constitution? I for one would like to see all young girls be forced to wear Purity Rings http://www.purityrings.com/ and all young people forced to sign a Purity Pledge http://groups.msn.com/TeenGenerationJesus/puritypledge1.msnw before being allowed into public schools. What ideas do you have for John McCain to keep promoting our Conservative-Christian values?

Public Comments

  1. He's not devout around cute lobbyists...
  2. I swear he's no good, He's gonna only make it worse( another bush). VOTE FOR OBAMA.
  3. McCain is an adulteror, so I don't think he knows zip about what it means to be Christian. McCain is run by lobbyists: http://youtube.com/watch?v=1gEROVh8zK4 So is McCain a racist? You decide(even though it's obvious) :http://youtube.com/watch?v=FNGXB_qx0xk
  4. This country is filled with enough gullible morons as is. Hopefully not.
  5. HAHA, that's funny...Did you know that Britney Spears wore a purity ring and signed a purity pledge?...She really did...I wonder how well that worked out for her Good luck with that @Albert: The ORIGINAL term "tar baby" meant a sticky/entangled situation, exactly like the situation that the tar baby character in the Brer Rabbit story (where this term came from) was in.....It was racist people that made it mean something else, others don't think that way...McCain used it in the ONLY context he knew it was meant in...It was AFTER his speech that someone told him it could be used in a racist way to which he replied "I don't think people would take it that way...I hope people wouldn't think that"...The racist connotations that he was UNAWARE of never crossed his mind...I wonder why... I understand that some people don't like McCain, Obama or Hillary, but that's no reason to make things up or create smoke where there is no fire...Stick to the facts please, otherwise it undermines your entire position and makes you look silly
  6. UGH what the heck does religion halve to do with anything. Oh and by the way if you really REALLY think about it every religion is based on the same things only slightly different =|
  7. Brilliant leader?...Bush?...Talk about an oxymoron.
  8. they don't promote their religion, they are true to their faith and beliefs. religion creates structure and discipline and there is nothing wrong with believing in god and practing a religion of choice if you want to
  9. What do "conservative christian values" have to do with the teachings of Jesus Christ? Very little from what I read in the Gospels. The Saduccees whom Jesus called a "brood of vipers" bear a remarkable resemblences to the likes of Bush, McCain et.al.
  10. Bush is the anti Christ-----Read the bible---in revelations. Christians will follow false prophets----HELLO ---Bush Jr is the false prophet!!!!!!! Wake up stupid Christian.
  11. i like the term FORCED Taliban style
  12. if bush has promoted christianity by starting wars and being a partisan bully then i'd guess mccain can do the same. mccain seems like a liar and hypocrite to me though, and that's what he and bush have in common. i also fail to see how someone so clearly lacking true piety and humbleness like bush can be seen as a good christian. mccain has exploited his imprisonment as a prisoner of war and seems lacking in values to me. he's just a hack politician and influence peddler.
  13. I hope so. If you think about it, this is one of the biggest differences between liberals and conservatives; and should be. Hillary claims to be Methodist and promotes values that are are not Biblical. The same is true for Kerry (Catholic) Obama (Christian), and was for Carter (Southern Baptist). I think purity is a great idea for the kids that want to be sure they don't get STDs, or have unwanted children. It increases the odds of lifetime success for kids born into marriages with 2 parents as opposed to a single parent. It certainly is the best alternative when it comes to safe sex. But what is more important, apparently it takes the president to stem the tide of anti-Christian bigotry from so called "tolerant" liberals. Thank God for freedom of speech and religion! EDIT: Jesus called them a brood of vipers because they were not what they said they were bringing spiritual death on their followers. Sound familiar?
  14. So...basically you are willing to give up MORE rights than we have already given up for...what????? I am looking forward to getting out from under the facist regime known as the Bush administration!!!
  15. Go obama! Can we all get along
  16. Yeah, I don't think that would work out because you can't push your faith on other people. They need to figure out where they are spiritually by themselves. The next president, whoever it may be, needs to take a serious look at this country and try to fix whatever he or she can.
  17. if he and bush are christians then i do not want anything to do with it or his god because you have to be brain dead unable or unwilling to think for yourself and no where in the does it say christiand get special rights in fact it calls for separation of church and state i know one thing i do not want to go to any heaven that welcomes george bush or any one who believes in him because he is going to have to answer to all the people he killed with his lies
  18. I'm sure you never needed a purity ring due to the fact no one would want to fornicate with your disgusting body attached to your even more disgusting mind. Pig
