Do you agree with my decision to support Barack Obama for President of the United States?

I know, i know.......i have said some very unflattering things about him. But, i also said some very good things about him. I've decided that McCain would be ineffective in turning this nation around. Clinton is not even an option for me. I genuinely do not trust nor like her. I think Barack Obama is probably the most unusual politician of our time................he is HONEST!! He is also pretty smart. I just feel like he really means what he says and is well- intentioned. I AM BY NO MEANS A SOCIALIST EITHER!!! I just pray to God that i have made the right decision for myself. My mind is made-up and the decision is FINAL!! To those who disagree with my decision.......i respect you!!! If i didn't have grave doubts about McCain's effectiveness, i would support him. Let's give Barack a chance!! if he screws it up, we come back four years later, stronger than ever!! "CORNCOB" - Sorry my friend, we need a REAL conservative in 2012!! McCain is a great American, but i just do not think he is one of us.

6. I think you've put it about as clearly as anyone could. Personally I think ANY Democrat could do better than Bush is doing now. McCain (and ALL the other Republicans, except Ron Paul) are not even allowed to admit Bush has made mistakes or say how they would do things differently. Consequently all they can promise us is four more years of the same. I respect McCain personally, but he is running on the standard GOP agenda, not his own agenda or ideas. Who wants that? 11. There never has been a perfect candidate. I disagree with Obama on immigration but I'm voting for him anyway for some of the same reasons you mentioned. McCain isn't the answer and Hillary cares only about her legacy I'm an Independent voting for Obama.
12. hey, Gabby. This guy is a first-term Senator - what has he done? He is where he is because he fits the mold of the type of person the U.S wants at this point in time - person of color, smooth speaker, good guy. But that is only a small part of what it takes to run this country and be the leader of the free world. He may be ready in 10+ years or so, but you can't be a trainee on this job. There are many things about McCain I don't care for, but he is much closer to what a President needs to have than Obama. Obama deeply concerns me as Commander-in-chief as well. And that has to be in place because the U.S. as we know it is truly threatened.

16. I never expected this from the likes of you. But I have a feeling that you are being honest with us. Obama is certainly the best option we have left for president. Like the other candidates, he has corporate sponsors. He is an American liberal which does not mean a socialist, it means he supports labor, freedom and equality. 22. To answer your question Gabby; No I do not, let me give you my reason why. The next President will get one maybe two Supreme Court Justice nominations during his presidency. Here is where both candidates stand on the issue of abortion. Obama is pro-choice and is more liberal than Hillary Clinton on this issue. Obama is one of only five Senators to oppose the ban on partial birth abortion and has a 100% NARAL rating. McCain is pro life, he voted for the ban on partial birth abortion and has a 0% rating by NARAL. Gabby if you claim to be a conservative than this subject alone should make you see the falisy of your decision.
